Emily Barr Tate

Emily Barr Tate is an attorney in the Jackson office of Watkins & Eager PLLC. She focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment law and litigation. Ms. Tate represents and defends employers in state and federal court litigation, and before administrative agencies. She also routinely counsels clients concerning human resources administration matters, including review of employee policies and agreements, leave administration, and other personnel matters. Ms. Tate earned her B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and her J.D. degree from the Mississippi College School of Law. She is a member of the Mississippi Bar, International Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute.
