Frank Marano is a shareholder with the Pittsburgh office of Dentons in the firm's Tax Department, advising clients of tax consequences associated with complex business transactions, including domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, investments, divestitures, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings. He also advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with tax considerations associated with their transactions and operations. Mr. Marano provides strategic guidance on the structuring of partnerships, limited liability companies, and S corporations, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax efficiency. Additionally, he represents clients in controversy matters to effectively resolve disputes and negotiate favorable outcomes. Mr. Marano earned his B.S. degree from Duquesne University, his J.D. degree from Syracuse University and his LL.M. degree in taxation from Temple University, Beasley School of Law.
