H. David Clark III is an attorney with Phelps Dunbar LLP, where he practices in the area of labor and employment, representing both private and public employers in defense of Section 1983 civil rights claims, Title VII and other discrimination suits, and wage and hour matters under the Fair Labor Standards Act. As part of his practice, Mr. Clark also defends claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Equal Pay Act. He earned his B.S. degree in communications from Mississippi College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, National Order of Barristers from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. Clark is a member of The Mississippi Bar, American Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in Mississippi and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Court, Southern and Northern districts of Mississippi.
