Joseph P Mendes is a partner with Fisher Phillips, where he brings more than a decade of litigation experience representing clients in complex civil disputes. He has tried more than 100 cases to verdict across Massachusetts and Maine and focuses his practice on high-stakes labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and workplace safety issues. Before joining Fisher Phillips, Mr. Mendes practiced in the Boston and Portland, Maine offices of a litigation defense firm, where he handled employment, products liability, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and other high-exposure civil cases. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Maine. Mr. Mendes earned his J.D. degree from the University of Maine School of Law.
