Kathryn J Cheatle is of counsel in the Omaha, Nebraska office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling. Ms. Cheatle concentrates her practice on employment-related litigation, including trial advocacy before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She is an experienced trial attorney and has served as lead counsel for trials and hearings involving claims arising under the Equal Protection Clause, the Due Process Clause, and 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Ms. Cheatle maximizes this trial experience to inform her litigation practices to best advise clients on minimizing the risk of litigation, strengthening client positions when faced with litigation, and evaluating potential liability. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, she was a partner at a law firm in Omaha, Nebraska. Ms. Cheatle's practice was devoted to civil litigation with an emphasis in health care law. She has served as lead trial counsel in several matters brought under federal, state and local laws. Ms. Cheatle earned her B.A. degree from University of Nebraska and her J.D. degree from University of Nebraska College of Law.
