Rex C Bush was inspired to practice personal injury law following the loss of his father in an automobile crash. After handling his first injury case in 1984, he has for the past 25 years dedicated his practice to helping victims of the carelessness of others. Utah Business Magazine recognized Mr. Bush in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020 as part of a peer reviewed selection in their Utah Legal Elite for the category of personal injury. The Utah State Bar honored Mr. Bush in 1996 for outstanding service to the legal profession. His biographical entry appears in Who's Who in American Law. His reported cases include Jenkins v. U.S.F.G., 962 P.2d 796 (Utah 1998), a landmark case in the law of arbitration, which has been cited by over 100 treatises, learned journals and appellate cases, including International Arbitration Law and Practice, Domke on Commercial Arbitration, Arbitrage International: Droit et Pratique, Corbin on Contracts, and Couch on Insurance. Mr. Bush has published over 50 articles in print and digital media on personal injury subjects, including "How to Prepare Your Personal Injury Case for Trial," Utah Bar Journal (1998); and "Zipline Injuries on the Rise," Utah Trial Journal (2017.) A popular speaker, he has, on many occasions, educated other lawyers on personal injury subjects at seminars such as "Personal Injury from A to Z" (NBI 2018), "Auto Injury Litigation from Start to Finish" (NBI 2018), "Insurance Coverage Litigation: Secrets Insurance Companies Don't Want Attorneys to Know" (NBI 2017), and "Advanced Issues in Personal Injury Litigation" (NBI 2014). High profile clients, cases and projects include Richard Worthington, the AC/DC case, and the Fen-Phen diet drug litigation.
