Richard F Iglar is a partner at Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. and has been with the firm since 1999. He has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. He has been listed as a "Super Lawyer" by New Jersey Monthly each year since 2010. Mr. Iglar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), a preeminent organization in the nation for family law practitioners. He served as the President of the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML for the 2020-2021 term. He is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). Mr Iglar has published a number of articles in blogs and The New Jersey Law Journal and has provided his expert legal commentary for television, radio and other printed media. He has appeared as a legal commentator on News12 New Jersey, analyzing a variety of family law topics, including custody matters, father's rights, the development of New Jersey family law and high-profile cases. Early in his career, Mr. Iglar was selected by peer review, conducted by Springboard Public Relations, as one of the "Top 10 Attorneys Under 40" in New Jersey. He was also one of youngest attorneys in the State to have been admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Iglar devotes his career to the practice of family law and all of its aspects including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence. His philosophy has always been to resolve every family law case with the priority on the client's goals and the client's financial and psychological needs. Although Mr. Iglar has demonstrated substantial success in accomplishing these goals through negotiations and advantageous settlements, he has also achieved significant results for his clients in the courtroom through litigation and trial work. Mr. Iglar has represented medical doctors, Wall Street professionals, corporate executives, and their spouses, as well as individuals from every walk of life. He has the knowledge, skills and experience to master the technical aspects of complex financial issues and business valuation and the psychological and mental health issues attendant to family law matters. He graduated from Boston College Law School, where he was an editor of the Boston College International and Comparative Law Review. For his undergraduate education, he attended Rutgers College, and graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He has appeared in the state, federal and the appellate courts of New Jersey and New York, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
