Sander R Weiner is of senior counsel at Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP. He is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation. Mr. Weiner's areas of expertise include defending clients against a wide range of claims, including personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, construction defects, negligent security, professional malpractice, and general negligence. He is also vastly skilled in training and representing employers in workplace law matters, including labor and employment litigation, as well as providing preventive advice and counseling. Mr. Weiner additionally has considerable experience handling union matters, collective bargaining, and labor arbitrations, having begun his career as a labor attorney representing law enforcement officers in Chicago and throughout Illinois. He has negotiated and drafted dozens of collective bargaining agreements, argued countless grievance arbitrations, conducted witness interviews, and assisted in workplace investigations. Mr. Weiner earned his B.A degree, summa cum laude, from Northeastern Illinois University and his J.D degree from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law.
