Sarah A James is an attorney at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC. She has represented clients in coverage disputes, complex personal injury cases, construction defect cases, contract disputes, real estate and title disputes, and EEOC matters. Ms. James has experience representing clients in complex civil litigation matters in Washington D.C., Maryland, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island Courts. Prior to joining private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Rhode Island Trial Court and for the Honorable Howard P. Speicher, Associate Justice in the Massachusetts Land Court, where she conducted research and drafted written decisions on administrative appeals and civil bench trials. Ms. James was a volunteer attorney for the ACLU of Rhode Island where she represented clients on matters involving civil rights violations and is also a volunteer for the D.C. Volunteer Lawyers Project. She earned her B.A. degree from Endicott College and her J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School.
