Stephanie D Gironda is a veteran counselor and litigator with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. She concentrates her practice on all varieties of employment matters. Ms. Gironda handles claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation based on gender, age, race, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability and other categories; whistleblower claims; employment contracts; wage and hour claims, severance agreements and leave time claims. She is proactive in counseling employers on such important topics as employee discipline and accommodation requests based on disability or religion. Ms. Gironda also represents employers in unemployment hearings. She is the employee co-chair for the Insurance Subcommittee of the Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee, Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association. Ms. Gironda is co-chair of the E-Discovery Subcommittee of the Employment Law section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and is also a Barrister and on the Programming Committee for the Sidney Reitman Employment Law Inn of Court. She belongs to the New Jersey State Bar Association; the American Bar Association and the Hudson County Bar Association. Ms. Gironda earned her B.A. degree from College of the Holy Cross, her M.A. degree from New York University and her J.D. degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark.
