She has more than 25 years of experience representing employers across industry sectors in all aspects of federal and state labor and employment law. Effective January 1, 2022, Ms. Armstrong was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve as a member of its Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law. She served as a member again in 2023. Additionally, Ms. Armstrong was appointed to serve on the District Ethics Committee for District VIII (DEC VIII); the term of appointment commenced on September 1, 2022, and continues through August 31, 2026. She earned her B.A. degree from Monmouth University and her J.D. degree from Seton Hall University Law School. is a veteran counselor and litigator with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. She concentrates her practice on all varieties of employment matters. Ms. Gironda handles claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation based on gender, age, race, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability and other categories; whistleblower claims; employment contracts; and wage and hour claims, severance agreements and leave time claims. She is proactive in counseling employers on such important topics as employee discipline and accommodation requests based on disability or religion. Ms. Gironda also represents employers in unemployment hearings. Following graduation from SHU, she clerked for the Honorable Margaret Mary McVeigh, presiding Chancery Judge of the Passaic County Superior Court. In between semesters attending SHU, Ms. Trottier spent a summer studying law in Cairo, Egypt and traveled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti on a service and mission trip to help the poor.
