Steven E Bers

Steven E Bers is with Whiteford Taylor & Preston, LLP, where he co-chairs the firm's labor and employment section. He also leads the firm's maritime law practice. Mr. Bers earned his B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. degree, Top 5% of class, Order of the Coif, from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Board, House of Ruth Maryland, Inc.; Board of Directors, Chizuk Amuno Synagogue; Graduate of Greater Baltimore Committee's Leadership Program; Mayor's Select Committee for City Convention Structure Oversight; MSBA and ABA Employment Sections; and the Maryland Head Injury Foundation (life member). Mr. Bers is admitted to practice in Maryland, U.S. Court of Appeals First and Fourth circuits, and U.S. District Court, District of Maryland.
