Steven M Cohen is litigation chair at Tiveron Law PLLC. He has successfully tried civil and criminal cases for over 35 years in both State and Federal courts. In addition to corporate and individual litigation clients, Mr. Cohen regularly both represents and sues local, state, and federal law enforcement officers from numerous agencies, in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings. Admitted to practice in the states of New York and Pennsylvania, he has been admitted pro hac vice to conduct trials in many other state and federal jurisdictions. Mr. Cohen is often brought in as special trial counsel by other law firms in civil rights and complex litigation cases. He has appeared, and his cases have been featured on local and national media, including Good Morning America, Dateline NBC, 24 Hours, CNN, Dr. Drew, Neil Cavuto, and Geraldo Rivera. In addition, Mr. Cohen's cases have been featured in the New York Law Journal, National Law Journal, Buffalo Law Journal, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Associated Press outlets. He is independent ethics counsel to the New York Judiciary. Mr. Cohen earned his B.A. degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook and his J.D. degree from State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.
