is a founder and partner with Gorby Peters & Associates, LLC. He is a nationally recognized leader in complex corporate disputes, professional negligence cases, and liability issues that arise for property owners and managers, such as hotel chains, restaurants, shopping centers, apartment complexes, office buildings and other public venues. Since 1998, Mr. Gorby has served as the program chair for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia (an affiliate of the University of Georgia), on the topic of premises liability. He is also the author of a popular legal treatise, Premises Liability in Georgia, which is published by Thomson Reuters/West, and which is now in its third edition. Mr. Gorby serves as an instructor/lecturer for Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center (GTPAC) in the area of procuring government contracts, and is also a registered mediator. He earned his B.A. degree from Georgia State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

She served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of South Carolina, as honors attorney for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Justice Department, and as a law clerk for a federal appeals court judge (Hon. Emory Sneeden, Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals), before entering private practice. Ms. Donne Peters is a frequent lecturer for legal and business groups, and chairs a litigation seminar for the Institute of Continuing Education in Georgia (now a division of the State Bar of Georgia). She is the author of Expert Testimony in Georgia, published by Thomson Reuters®. Ms. Donne Peters earned her B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.

is a government contracting consultant for Gorby Peters & Associates, LLC and the lead instructor for the GP Training Division. A 20-year Veteran of the United States Army who retired with the rank of Major, he has over 35 years of experience in planning, executing, and administering government contracts in a variety of positions as contracting officer and administrative contracting officer. As an administrative contracting officer, Mr. Larkin oversaw a $2.1 billion production contract. Moving from "practitioner" to educator, he became a faculty member as an assistant professor of contracting at the Air Force Institute of Technology, instructing government employees how to perform purchasing functions. Mr. Larkin later participated in the startup and development of Defense Acquisition University. Later in his career, he completed  ten years of service with the Georgia Tech Procurement Technical Assistance Center (GTPAC) as an educator and business counselor for over 4,500 Georgia businesses concerning how to navigate the bidding process in providing goods and services to local, state and federal agencies or municipalities. Businesses receiving this assistance received as a Prime Vendor or Subcontractor over $550M in contract awards.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
