Adam H. Lotkin
is an attorney in the Norfolk law firm of Rutter Mills, LLP, where he practices all disciplines of trial work and focuses in representing the rights of injured individuals in personal injury cases. Mr. Lotkin has taught seminars on criminal jury trials, civil jury trials and presenting medical evidence in court. He is admitted to practice in Virginia. Mr. Lotkin is a member of the Virginia State and California State, Virginia Beach and District of Columbia bar associations, and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Lafayette College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Howard University.

Joshua D. Silverman
is the sole practitioner in the law firm of Silverman Law Firm LC, in Richmond, Virginia, where his practice includes nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, and personal injury law. Mr. Silverman is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Nursing Home Litigation Group. He serves on the Board of Governors for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and is past chairman of the Young Trial Lawyer's Division and Publication Committee. Mr. Silverman has previously served as an editor of The Journal, which is published by the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and has published several articles in The Journal. He also regularly volunteers his time at the Virginia Legal Aid Society. Mr. Silverman earned his B.A. degree from American University and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tara L. Tighe Umbrino
is the attorney at TLT Legal Services, PLLC. She is an experienced personal injury attorney and civil litigator. Ms. Tighe Umbrino has significant litigation experience in both jury and bench trials, and her strong desire to help others led her to become an attorney who fights for the rights of aggrieved and injured individuals. She is admitted to practice in Virginia (state, EDVA and WDVA), Maryland (state and DMD) and the District of Columbia (state and DDC). Ms. Tighe Umbrino is fluent in English and Spanish. She earned her B.A. degree from Tufts University and her J.D. degree from The George Washington University Law School. Ms. Tighe maintains an active practice in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

is a seasoned trial lawyer at Glenn Robinson Cathey Skaff & White PLC, with extensive experience representing individuals, companies, and local governments in a variety of litigation matters. Her practice spans both state and federal courts, including appeals, with particular expertise in insurance coverage and employment disputes. Ms. White earned her B.A. degree from Appalachian State University and her J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Virginia State Bar and Massachusetts State Bar.

Robert E. Byrne, Jr.
is the managing attorney and president of MartinWren, P.C. Named by the Virginia State Bar as the 2010 Virginia Young Lawyer of the Year, Mr. Byrne is a business litigation attorney who focuses on business and commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, plaintiff's personal injury, and employment law. He handles claims involving breach of contract cases, business torts, landlord-tenant cases, eminent domain, construction litigation, covenants not to compete, trade secrets litigation, real estate disputes, and business torts, including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and conversion matters. With trial experience in both state and federal court, he is passionate about representing his clients through all levels of a case, from researching and briefing complex issues of law to arguing motions and presenting cases at trial. Mr. Byrne has twice been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine. He received his B.S. degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Regent University. Mr. Byrne is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference (co-chair, Professional Development Conference; chair, Children and the Law Commission; and member, Litigation Section), the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association.

Cullen D. Seltzer
is a shareholder with Sands Anderson PC, where he is a member of the business and professional litigation and the government groups. His practice focuses on litigation matters, including commercial disputes, defense of government officials and agencies in civil rights and related matters, business torts, including defamation and tortious interference with business affairs. Mr. Seltzer represents businesses and individuals in white collar criminal defense matters and government investigations. He also litigates trust and estate disputes and related claims. Mr. Steltzer is a member of the John Marshall Inn of Court (past president), Richmond Bar Association, Virginia State Bar (past chair of the Third District Committee for Lawyer Discipline). He is a past member of the faculty of the Virginia State Bar's Carrico Professionalism Course, and he is an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond School of Law. Mr. Steltzer earned his B.A. degree from Mary Washington College and J.D. degree from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law.
