Jena G. Emory
is a senior associate in Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP's Commercial, Class Action and Production Liability Litigation practices. Her practice primarily focuses on insurance coverage defense. Ms. Emory has tried cases solo in Superior Court and Magistrate Court. She is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Emory is currently an officer as co-editor of The YLD Review. She is a graduate of the 2020 YLD Leadership Academy and has written numerous articles for The YLD Review. Ms. Emory received the 2021-2022 YLD Achievement Award for Service to the Public, 2020-2021 YLD Achievement Award for Service to the Public, and the 2019-2020 YLD Achievement Award for Service to the Profession. She is also on the Editorial Board for the Georgia Bar Journal. In addition, Ms. Emory is on the Selection Committee for the Justice Robert Benham Awards for the Chief Justice's Commission on Professionalism. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina, with a double major in economics and global supply chain and operations management with a minor in music. Ms. Emory earned her J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was the submissions editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, as well as an author of numerous publications. After graduating from law school, she was a fellow for Judge William ("Billy") Ray, II at the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Torin D. Togut
is a sole practitioner in Lawrenceville. He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law and taught special education law, as well as supervised law students in a special education practicum from 2006-2012. For more than 25 years, Mr. Togut worked as a public interest attorney with Georgia Legal Services Program. He is now primarily engaged in the private practice of law and concentrates on representing families of children with disabilities. Mr. Togut has extensive experience practicing law in the federal courts of Georgia and in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice in federal court has focused on representation of families of children with disabilities, education law, employment discrimination, civil rights and disability litigation, and federal criminal practice. Mr. Togut is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Northern, Middle and Southern districts of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is an inactive member of the State Bar of Vermont, but still a member of the Vermont Federal District Court. Mr. Togut is a frequent speaker in the areas of special education and disability law at local, regional and national workshops and conferences. He also has spoken at conferences and workshops on federal practice, civil rights litigation and legal ethics. He has published a law review article on racial disproportionality in special education, and expects to publish an article on specific learning disability eligibility, Response-to-Intervention, and Child Find. He earned his B.S. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from the University of Laverne College of Law.

Louis R. Cohan
founded Cohan Law Group, L.L.C., and has been a trial lawyer for more than 30 years. He has been recognized for his trial experience by admission into the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Cohan has litigated more than $900 million in claims for his clients and recently secured a Verdict in excess of $66 million in a fraud case. He has done work in breach of contract, fraud, injunctive relief, punitive damages, employment, trade secrets, real estate, construction and construction defects, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Cohan's practice is concentrated on business litigation and employment litigation, as well as civil litigation. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from Emory School of Law. Mr. Cohan has served as chair of the Litigation Section, the largest section of the Atlanta Bar Association. He has also chaired the Small Firm Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Cohan has served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Bar Association; and has chaired the Atlanta Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Atlanta Bar Association. He has received awards and recognition for his community and legal work. These awards include Super Lawyer, Legal Elite, Martindale-Hubbell's preeminent AV rating, American Board of Trial Advocates, America's Top 100 Attorneys, and the Celebrating Service Award. For many years, Mr. Cohan has chaired the Legal Run Around 5k road race, raising money for the children of injured and fallen Atlanta Police Department officers.
