Speaker bio
Donald A. Wochna
formed the E-Data Law Group LLC almost 19 years ago, which is a consortium of experts that design, build and defend advanced technological solutions to legal challenges in litigation, healthcare, audit, privacy and security issues. The vision of the E-Data Law Group is to use electronic data to make the practice of law proactive. Mr. Wochna obtained one of the first civilian licenses for computer forensic software, and began a business identifying, preserving, extracting, analyzing and producing electronically stored information, including content, metadata and artifacts. He earned his B.S. degree from Cal State Long Beach and his J.D. degree from The Law School, University of Chicago. Mr. Wochna has written hundreds of articles related to ediscovery, Big Data, analytics, and the challenges to the legal profession raised by electronic information systems. His books include, E-discovery: Making the Computer Your Best Witness, published by Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Wochna is a frequent and lively speaker regarding electronic data issues. He has testified before the Advisory Committee on Amendments to the Rules of Civil Procedure, and has been influential in shaping the process by which large sparse datasets are defensibly searched to produce relevant information without reliance upon agreed-upon search terms.

R. Joseph Wessendarp
is a solo practitioner in West Chester, who advises and defends private and public sector employers and businesses in labor and employment, workers' compensation, workplace health and safety regulatory compliance, discriminatory and retaliatory discharge, wage/hour issues, and collective bargaining. He practices before state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitrations. Mr. Wessendarp earned his B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from the University of Detroit.

Casey S. Erick
is a partner with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and a member of the Labor & Employment practice. He focuses on commercial litigation and employment law. Mr. Eric has represented clients in both litigation and transactional matters that span across commercial law, labor and employment, real estate, consumer protection, and general litigation; including, but not limited to breach of contract, corporate trade secret theft, tortious interference, defamation, personal injury, fraud, and various other kinds of civil litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association, and is board-certified in civil trial law. Mr. Eric earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. degree from Baylor School of Law.

Lucy Bednarek
is of counsel in the Chicago office of Littler Mendelson P.C. She is an experienced litigation attorney with extensive jury trial experience in state and federal court. Ms. Bednarek defends employers in all areas of employment law including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, disability discrimination and accommodation, family and medical leave, whistleblower, equal pay, wage and hour, defamation, breach of contract, and military service. She defends claims involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Pay Act (EPA), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Section 1981, and state laws. Ms. Bednarek also defends employers before state and federal administrative agencies, including the EEOC, Illinois Human Rights Commission,Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and Indiana Department of Labor. She earned her B.A. degree from Loyola University Chicago and her J.D. degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Ms. Bednarek is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IADTC), Defense Research Institute (DRI), Illinois State Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association.

Anne R. Myers
is a partner with Comegno Law Group, P.C., where her practice includes defense of employment practices claims. Ms. Myers recently secured summary judgment dismissal of EPL claims that garnered national and international attention. Her defense side practice also includes design defect defense for architects and engineers, directors and officers liability, accountants, insurance agents, real estate agents, title insurance agents and agencies, mortgage brokers and mortgage companies, as well as medical malpractice. Ms. Myers earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Arizona State University Honors College and her J.D. degree from Cornell University. Ms. Myers is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Texas, the U.S. District Court for New Jersey, the U.S. District Court (Eastern, Middle, and Western districts) of Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court (Southern, Northern, and Eastern districts) of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.

Lorna M. Wiggins
is a shareholder in the Albuquerque law firm of Wiggins, Williams & Wiggins, P.C. She has practiced primarily in the areas of labor and employment law. Ms. Wiggins started practicing law in New Mexico after completing a judicial clerkship. Much of her practice includes advising management on various personnel issues, including hiring, discipline, termination and layoff issues; negotiating employment contracts; non-compete agreements; patent waiver agreements; and assisting management in developing and implementing personnel policies. Ms. Wiggins regularly assists management in certification and decertification elections, negotiating union contracts, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges. She regularly defends employers before the New Mexico Human Right Commission, EEOC, OFCCP, NLRB, and state and federal courts. Ms. Wiggins routinely provides training to employers in recognizing and eliminating discrimination and harassment in the workplace, and is a frequent lecturer on labor and employment law. She attended Southern Methodist University, and earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from the University of North Dakota and her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Ms. Wiggins is a member of the Albuquerque and American bar associations, and State Bar of New Mexico.

is an attorney at Margolis Edelstein. Her practice is centered on complex litigation, including collective, class, and single-plaintiff matters. Ms. Hirsch's focus is on employment litigation, defending employment disputes involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She also counsels and advises employers on best practices and compliance with federal, state, and local rules and requirements. Ms. Hirsch earned her B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. degree from Widener University - Delaware Law School. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association; and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
