Kathleen R. Urbom
is a sole practitioner with Urbom Law Offices Chartered in Topeka, where she has a civil practice including estate planning and probate, guardian and conservatorships, trust formation, including special needs trusts, and special education law. Ms. Urbom has spoken previously on special education law, landlord tenant law, and end of life planning; including business succession, wills and trusts, and guardian conservatorships. She has spoken several times on the subject of the working knowledge of taxes as it impacts consideration of formation of various estate documents. Ms. Urbom is a member of the Kansas and Topeka bar associations, Women's Attorneys Association of Topeka, and Jenny Mitchell Kellogg Circle. She earned her B.S. degree from St. Mary of the Plains College and her J.D. degree from Washburn University of Topeka.

George Singer
is a partner at Holland & Hart LLP where he works closely with lenders, borrowers and administrative agents, as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies, on complex debt and equity financings. He also represents various business interests in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. Clients value his ability to negotiate and structure financing arrangements that protect their interests and align with the larger business goals of the transaction. He brings decades of experience in restructurings and credit matters to transactions. In Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings across the country, Mr. Singer represents a range of stakeholders, including business debtors, creditors, trustees and committees. He often serves as lead counsel in connection with representing buyers and sellers in bankruptcy sales under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code and other distressed sale transactions. He is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. Before joining Holland & Hart, Mr. Singer was a partner at Ballard Spahr LLP in Minneapolis. He previously served as an attorney on staff attorney with the National Bankruptcy Review Commission. Mr. Singer also served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Nancy C. Dreher U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota and to Judge William A. Hill, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of North Dakota. He earned his B.B.A. degree from University of North Dakota and his J.D. degree, with distinction, from University of North Dakota School of Law.

Laurie E. Martin
is a partner with Hoover Hull Turner LLP. She practices in the areas of business litigation, employment litigation and consulting, and ERISA litigation. Ms. Martin advises and defends employers facing claims, including employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, blacklisting or defamation, wage and hour disputes, enforcement of covenants not to compete, ERISA and benefit litigation and trade secret misappropriation; including representation in actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state and local agencies, and federal and state courts. She also represents large and small businesses, insurers, ERISA plans, health care providers and individuals in commercial disputes, including contract enforcement and interpretation, and business torts, including breach of fiduciary duty and fraud. Ms. Martin earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Butler University and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Larry J. McKinney in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. is a certified public accountant with the Florida office of Levin, Silvey, Zelko & Mackey, P.A., where her background includes all facets of accounting, including financial statement and tax preparation, as well as computer software and bookkeeping assistance. She is also a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Ms. Mackey graduated from the University of South Florida with an extended B.S. degree in business administration and earned her MBA degree from Keller Graduate School of Devry University. In 2000, she earned her Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) designation from the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education, LLC, and in 2011 attained Accredited Estate Planner(r) status. Additionally, Ms. Mackey is an instructor for the Becker CPA Review course, an FICPA Ethics course facilitator and a frequent lecturer on various topics. She is the past-president for the FICPA N. Dade S. Broward chapter, American Woman's Society of CPAs - S.
