Rachael Flanagan
is an attorney at Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC, where she handles a wide range of cases aimed at holding corporations and individuals accountable when their negligent acts result in harm to others. She is a tireless advocate for mental health awareness. Ms. Flanagan proudly serves the legal and local communities as a member of The Florida Bar's Mental Health & Wellness Committee and president-elect of the Board of Directors of NAMI Palm Beach County. She earned her B.S. degree from East Tennessee State University and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law.

Nikki Hawkins
is a partner at Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, LLP. She is a trial lawyer and partner in the Jacksonville Office. Ms. Hawkins focuses her practice on defending catastrophic claims relating to wrongful death and personal injuries. She has significant experience also in defending automobile and trucking claims, SIU and fraud-related matters, and first-party property (FPP) insurance defense. Ms. Hawkins has almost two decades of experience within two major insurance carriers, where she also spent three years as a special investigator of medical billing fraud and insurance fraud. Her time and expertise within special investigations led to two arrests in one year's time, the recovery of over $600,000 with an additional $400,000 of non-payment of pended PIP billing. As the project manager, Ms. Hawkins led a coalition task force in the investigation of medical billing fraud with Florida Department of Insurance Fraud and federal Medicaid/Medicare special agents which ultimately led to a recovery of over $400,000 in Medicare/workers' compensation fraud for the state of Florida. She has represented insurance companies in the defense of a wide variety of lines of coverage including bad faith. Ms. Hawkins has successfully litigated and tried breach of contract, liability and bad faith actions stemming from insurers' handling of personal injury and property damage matters and is currently working as Extra-Contractual (EC) counsel for insurance carriers throughout the state of Florida. She earned her B.A. degree from University of Central Florida and her J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Catherine M. Hedglon
is a partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP. She advises clients on general liability, personal injury, wrongful death, sexual assault, product liability, toxic torts, and professional and medical malpractice claims. Ms. Hedglon handles all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit claims to jury trials and post-trial appellate motions, for her clients, which include multinational Fortune 500 companies. She has successfully tried numerous jury trials involving product liability and premises liability cases in several jurisdictions around Florida. As part of her product liability practice, Ms. Hedglon also represents clients in a variety of construction matters, including defect litigation, as well as those relating to building products and building violations, and code compliance issues. As part of her health care practice, she represents various health care professionals in front of medical licensing boards for disciplinary actions and health care legislative matters. Ms. Hedglon has extensive experience working with chiropractors related to risk management and medical malpractice, as she currently serves as counsel to the Florida Chiropractic Society. Prior to joining Hinshaw, she practiced law at a national defense firm, focusing on premises liability litigation for multinational Fortune 500 companies. At that time, Ms. Hedglon tried numerous jury trials for a large big-box retailer involving negligent security and slip and fall injuries. Additionally, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum, now U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and former U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida. She earned her B.S. degree from Florida State University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law.

Evan M. Holober
is an attorney at Cozen O'Connor. He concentrates his practice on first-and third- party insurance matters, including insurance coverage disputes, bad faith litigation and counseling, and catastrophic injury claims. Mr. Holober analyzes claims and demands and prepares coverage recommendations for pre-litigation and active litigation claims involving property damage, bodily injuries, and pollution liability. He manages all stages of litigation, including discovery, conducting and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and negotiating settlements. Mr. Holober also analyzes the applicability of newly enacted statutory reforms to pending and prospective insurance claims. He earned his B.A. degree in political science from University of California, Santa Barbara and his J.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

Jed Kurzban
is an attorney and managing partner for the law firm Kurzban Kurzban Tetzeli & Pratt, P.A. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability and personal injury. He is admitted to practice by The Florida Bar and Hawaii State Bar Association, and before the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida, U.S. Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii. Mr. Kurzban is also the author of How Justice is Served and a member of the Dade County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association, The National Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He served as vice chair of the Dade County Bar Association Trial Section and on the Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association. Mr. Kurzban also lobbied in Tallahassee for issues relating to medical malpractice and victim rights. He has also published several articles in the Florida Bar Journal and the FJA Journal, and given multiple lectures on topics relating to personal injury, auto negligence, medical malpractice and civil litigation. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Alabama and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law where he was an adjunct instructor teaching pre-litigation tactics at the University of Miami School of Law.

Carly F. McAllister
is an attorney at Cole, Scott & Kissane. She is a trial attorney that generally practices in the areas of trucking accident litigation, wrongful death, catastrophic and personal injury, security negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, commercial litigation, vehicle negligence, business/commercial law, consumer law, cyber risk and privacy liability, and more. Ms. McAllister advises commercial parties in the midst of highly-contentious matters across the state of Florida and has successfully tried cases to verdict and prevailed on summary judgment. In addition to her business litigation practice, she has represented clients on a pro bono basis in a variety of contexts. Ms. McAllister earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law.
