Jerry Casheros
is a partner in the law firm of McCormick Barstow LLP in the firm's litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on representing clients in family law and professional liability defense matters. Mr. Casheros is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in family law. He has successfully represented clients in complex, high net worth divorce and contentious custody litigation cases. Mr. Casheros earned his B.A. degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. degree from the University of California - Davis School of Law.

Daniel H. Butler
is a Shareholder with Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney. He was born in New York City and grew up on Long Island, New York, before attending the University of Michigan and Syracuse University College of Law (cum laude). After graduating from Syracuse Law and working for the asset forfeiture department of the Northern District of New York for over a year, Mr. Butler moved back to New York City in 2016 and began working as a litigation attorney. He practiced for six years at a busy litigation firm in Manhattan and focused his practice on the defense of professionals and in construction litigation, before moving to Southern California with his wife. Mr. Butler remains licensed in both New York and California. He also has experience in insurance coverage litigation. As a practicing litigator in California since 2022, Mr. Butler's practice has remained focused on the defense of financial professionals and attorneys as well as construction litigation. He has experience in all facets of litigation by virtue of exclusively litigating complex professional responsibility and construction matters. Mr. Butler has also successfully resolved dozens of cases for private clients and insurance carriers through mediation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. He has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in New York City for the years of 2020 and 2021, and in Southern California for the years of 2023, 2024, and 2025. This is an award given to only 2.5% of practicing attorneys in the region. Mr. Butler has also been published in USI Affinity's newsletter (2017) and in the Professional Liability Defense Federation's quarterly publication (Vol 1. 2021), with both publications concerning issues pertaining to the defense of professionals.

Danielle K. Little
is a Partner in Goldberg Segalla's Labor & Employment and Retail and Hospitality Practice Groups. She has a long, successful record defending clients in cases that include labor and employment (including discrimination, retaliation, PAGA and wage and hour disputes), personal injury, premises liability, auto, subrogation, public-entity liability and ADA/Unruh compliance. Ms. Little's practice has included the representation of both plaintiffs (including, government classified and managerial personnel) and defendants which has enabled her to have a keen awareness of the complexity of litigation from both sides. She also has experience handling employment and licensure matters before the EEOC, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, California Labor Commissioner's Office, California Department of Social Services, California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, California Board of Registered Nursing and California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Ms. Little has been published in The New York Law Journal, The Minority Corporate Counsel Association's Diversity and the Bar magazine, QBR: The Black Book Review, and several literary publications. She also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Long Island University and as an Adjunct Lecturer at City University of New York - Queens College, where she taught undergraduate composition and literature courses. Ms. Little earned her B.A. degree in Social Ecology from University of California, Irvine, her Master of Fine Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College and her J.D. degree from University of California Berkeley School of Law where she was an Associate Editor of the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law.

Donald H. Latzer
is a partner in the Law Offices of Latzer & Fleming in Citrus Heights, California. He focuses his practice on all aspects of family law, including guardianships and adoptions. Mr. Latzer is a certified legal specialist in family law by the State Bar of California. He is licensed to practice in California, as well as Iowa (inactive). Mr. Latzer earned his B.A. degree from California State University, Northridge and his J.D. degree from the University of LaVerne.

Sheila-Marie Finkelstein, Esq.
has an LLM in Taxation, is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization, and is a Veterans Affairs Accredited Attorney. She is a licensed attorney in California and Nevada. She founded and runs the Pro Bono Estate Clinic at Veterans Legal Institute, preparing approximately 100 complete estate plans annually for veterans in need. Ms. Finkelstein, has been published multiple times in the American Bar Association national magazines and Orange County Lawyer, and teaches several continuing legal education courses through NBI, Orange County Bar Association, CEB, and CalVet. She frequently speaks at public and private events on the benefits of proper estate planning. Ms. Finkelstein is a Shareholder at Klinedinst Attorneys, in Orange County, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. She heads the Trusts & Estates Team. Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Finkelstein founded AHAVA Law, P.C. ® where Estate Planning is Planning for Life…with your LOVE! ® Ms. Finkelstein is passionate about education and veterans. She practices in estate planning because of her experiences as a clerk for the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps, and as an elementary school science teacher with Teach for America. Ms. Finkelstein. She received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law, her B.A. from American University, M.Ed. from University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and LLM from Chapman University Fowler School of Law.

Ms. Pesola's practice concentrates in Civil Litigation, with an emphasis on Commercial Litigation, Family Law, Contracts, Business Torts, and Professional Liability. She earned her B.A. degree in Philosophy, summa cum laude from Northern Illinois University (Minors in Psychology and Sociology - Certificate in Criminology - Full University Honors in Honors Program) and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from University of Wisconsin Law School (Concentration in Family Law and Criminal Law - Mock Trial Team). Ms. Pesola is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Fresno County Bar Association and Fresno County Young Lawyers Association.
