Danielle M. Simpson
is a partner with Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. She concentrates her practice in the defense of civil litigation claims, with an emphasis on labor and employment, community association disputes, and professional negligence. Ms. Simpson has represented management in employment litigation before state and federal courts in Florida, along with agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Florida Commission on Human Relations. Her experience includes representing employers on issues such as employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, overtime and unpaid wages, leave and disability issues, employment contracts, workplace torts, and other employment law claims under various state and federal laws. Ms. Simpson also provides counseling to management regarding ongoing employment and labor matters and policy development, with an emphasis on preventive practices. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Vermont and her J.D. degree from Barry University School of Law.

Stephen B. Stern
is a partner in the law firm of Kagan Stern Marinello & Beard, LLC, where he practices in the areas of employment law and commercial litigation. Mr. Stern conducts training seminars and has been retained to advise on and/or conduct highly sensitive and complex investigations. He has successfully represented clients in federal and state courts; and before federal, state, and local administrative agencies, including the EEOC, Department of Labor, and Department of Justice. He is admitted to practice in the courts of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Stern graduated from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and earned his J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School.

is of counsel with Crowley Fleck PLLP in the firm's Billings, Montana office. She is a member of the employment law, healthcare, and tort litigation practice groups. Ms. Lervick specializes in matters before the Human Rights Bureau and the Office of Civil Rights, as well as a vast array of healthcare and government related issues. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Honors Program at Montana State University, and her law degree from DePaul University College of Law. Ms. Lervick is admitted to practice in Illinois; United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois; United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit Montana; and United States District Court, District of Montana.

Douglas W. Desmarais
is a partner with Smith & Downey, P.A., where his practice deals with all aspects of employment relationships, with particular emphasis on educating employers about the many labor and employment laws that govern the workplace, and helping employers comply with these laws, thus avoiding costly and time-consuming litigation. Additionally, Mr. Desmarais has extensive experience in representing clients before the EEOC, DOL, OFCCP, NLRB, and numerous other federal, state and local agencies and courts. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and District of Columbia Bar Association. Mr. Desmarais earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and his LL.M. degree in labor law from Georgetown University School of Law.

Brittanie Wagnon Carpenter
is an attorney with Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea LLC. She works with oil and gas companies on title work, as well as medium and large companies on the development and implementation of contracts and employment best practices, policies, and handbooks. Ms. Wagnon Carpenter has represented both employees and employers in various employment matters related to wages, discrimination, and harassment. She also represents large insurance companies in their SIU investigations related to insurance fraud and insurance defense. Ms. Wagnon Carpenter earned her Bachelor of Science in elementary education, summa cum laude, from McNeese State University Honors College and her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in comparative law, magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Shreveport Bar Association. Ms. Wagnon Carpenter is admitted to practice in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
