M. Reed Martz
is a member of Freeland Martz, PLLC, in Oxford. A long time shooter and sportsman, he is a recognized champion of 2nd Amendment civil rights and a specialist in issues of self-defense and justified use of force. Mr. Martz has participated in numerous shooting and educational courses by renowned trainers such as Massad Ayoob, Andrew Branca, Tom Givens, and others. He is on the recommended counsel list of several national organizations, including the Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Network and United States Concealed Carry Association. Mr. Martz serves as counsel to numerous instructors, firing ranges, and individuals on issues such as gun laws, liability, and lawful self-defense. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Mississippi. Mr. Martz practices in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia.

Eduardo V. Martinez
is in self-practice with a primary focus in mediation, as well as contractual and business law, which he also teaches. He retired as a Captain from the U.S. Navy after 30 years and still consults on matters of national security. Dr. Martinez is currently on staff at Angelo State University, where he teaches intelligence and security studies. He is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Homeland and National Security Perspectives. Dr. Martinez has written articles involving transportation security and maritime cyberterrorism. He is a former special assistant attorney general for the state of Mississippi, and admitted to all Mississippi state and federal courts, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Military Appeals, U.S. Court of International Trade, and U.S. Supreme Court. Dr. Martinez earned his B.A. degree in government from the University of Texas, his M.A. degree in legal studies from Antioch University, his M.S.S. degree from the U.S. Army War College and his J.D. degree from the Mississippi College School of Law.

Justin M. Sumrall
is a member at Carroll Warren Parker, PLLC and advises domestic and international insurance and reinsurance clients in a variety of major first-party property losses. His ambition and natural leadership abilities were evident throughout his law school education. At the University of Mississippi School of Law, Mr. Sumrall was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal. It was there that he developed strong research and writing skills, which earned him a promotion to staff editor, rising to executive editor shortly thereafter. He also served as president of the Christian Legal Society during law school. An integral part of the CWP team, Mr. Sumrall brings a wealth of skill, expertise, and diligent hard work to every case. He is a member of the American Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar, Louisiana State Bar Association and L.E.A. Loss Executives Association.

Keri E. Herrington
is a member of Butler Snow LLP's commercial litigation practice group. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Herrington is a member of Jackson Young Lawyers (Newsletter Committee chair, 2024-present), Capital Area Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit. She earned her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Mississippi College and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law.

is a partner with Anderson Crawley & Burke, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation and construction-related matters. He regularly represents businesses, insurers, and individual clients in general liability and construction disputes, including litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. House's practice centers on defending personal injury, premises liability, products liability, automobile liability, and professional liability claims, in addition to all aspects of construction-related matters. He also advises clients on contract, payment, lien, and risk-management issues arising from construction projects. Mr. House earned his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law, and is licensed in Mississippi and Louisiana.
