Dov Treiman
is a partner at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. and chairs the landlord-tenant civil litigation practice. As one of the leading authorities in the landlord-tenant bar, his drafting of appellate briefs, legal documents and motions has increased the ability of the firm to garner better results for its clients. Mr. Treiman was involved in private practice for 15 years before devoting his principal time to the collecting, editing, writing and publishing of scholarly research materials in landlord-tenant law. His writings include numerous articles in the New York Law Journal, and many articles in the Landlord-Tenant Practice Reporter. Mr. Treiman is a highly-sought lecturer on landlord-tenant subjects, and has been retained by most of the providers of continuing legal education in the state of New York. He was the principal consultant to the New York Times for landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Treiman earned his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law.

Kathleen M. Bennett
is a partner with Bond, Schoneck & King, PLLC, where she practices in the areas of environmental and property law. She has broad experience in land use matters, including site plan review, special permit review, variances, subdivisions, and annexation. Ms. Bennett also has extensive knowledge of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act. She has appeared before several municipal boards on behalf of project sponsors on a range of projects from small (residential) to large (institutional). Ms. Bennett also has particular experience in land use and SEQRA litigation. In addition to land use matters, she has worked on matters involving state and federal regulatory compliance issues, particularly in the areas of wetlands, historic preservation, storm water, petroleum bulk storage, solid and hazardous waste disposal, environmental remediation, environmental aspects of real property and business transactions, and environmental litigation matters. Ms. Bennett also has experience in property tax assessment challenges and litigation. She earned her A.B. degree, magna cum laude, from Colgate University and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

Juan D. Reyes, III
is a partner at Ice Miller LLP. He is a member of Ice Miller's Real Estate, Environmental & Energy Law (REEL) Group and part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary group of private equity lawyers in the firm's New York office, who know how to seal the deal. Mr. Reyes works closely with his clients to guide them through all stages of the investment cycle, combining his knowledge and innovative ideas to leverage and execute tailored strategies for success. Juan's transactional experience traverses many industries, including real estate development, construction, transportation development, and all types of financing for these projects. He brings to bear decades of experience in public and private development to support clients navigating land use, development, finance, and permitting opportunities and challenges. With a unique background spanning federal leadership positions and through large-scale urban and rural municipal development, historic preservation, and the private sector, Mr. Reyes leverages his extensive knowledge of federal, state, and municipal regulations to advance client goals regarding zoning, planning, landmark and building code matters, and governmental funding and approvals. He also advises clients on a wide array of federal, state, and local government incentives. Mr. Reyes' experience also includes several executive branch roles vital to New York City real estate, including general counsel to the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals and counsel to the New York City Loft Board, Office of the Mayor. His clients come from a range of sectors, including residential and commercial developers, national retailers, not-for-profit institutions, corporations, educational institutions, restaurants, and entertainment facilities. Mr. Reyes works closely with New York City's legislative leaders, city agencies, and administrative departments as he helps clients navigate regulatory and discretionary governmental approvals. He has obtained variances, rezonings, landmarks, special permits, and Department of Buildings approvals throughout New York City and, in particular, Manhattan. He earned his B.A. degree from Emory University and his J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Brad K. Schwartz
is an attorney at Zarin & Steinmetz LLP. He represents developers, property owners and municipalities in all aspects of real estate development and environmental law. Mr. Schwartz appears before municipal review boards advancing zoning and land use applications toward completion. His work managing the process and collaborating with his clients' consultants on the technical issues has led to approvals for residential, commercial, educational, senior living, and mixed-use projects. Mr. Schwartz's practice also includes conducting zoning and environmental due diligence for developers and lenders. He negotiates and prepares easements, declarations, and other real estate instruments and agreements. Mr. Schwartz also litigates land use, real estate, and environmental matters. He has successfully defended municipal approvals and SEQRA decisions in Article 78 proceedings. Mr. Schwartz is an adjunct professor at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he teaches land use regulation. He earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. degree from Boston College Law School.

is an attorney at Cuddy & Feder LLP. He is a partner in the firm's Litigation Group. With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Caruso brings his vast experience in litigating in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. He often works with clients that have complex issues by using adaptive and creative strategies to achieve favorable results. Mr. Caruso also has extensive training and experience in land use and zoning and environmental law which allows him to navigate the complex administrative and regulatory framework at the municipal and agency levels. He began his legal career with firms in Westchester County and eventually joined a solo practitioner in Putnam County in 2012, where he developed his practice as a litigator and land use attorney. Mr. Caruso earned his B.A. degree from Colgate University, his LL.M degree in environmental law from Pace University, and his J.D. degree from Pace University School of Law.
