Sonja L. Deyoe
is a member of the Law Offices of Sonja L. Deyoe P.C., where she works exclusively on labor, wage and hour, and civil rights actions. She was a recipient of the 2018 Lawyer of the Year award from Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly. Ms. Deyoe is presently studying in a master's degree program for religious studies through Harvard University. She is graduate of Roger Williams Law School. Prior to her graduation, Ms. Deyoe had the great fortune of clerking for Magistrate Justice Hagopian at the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island. After her graduation, she served as a law clerk for the Connecticut Superior Court systems. Ms. Deyoe has been active in presenting CLE presentations at both the state and local levels.

Thomas M. Mitchell
is a partner of the law firm of Carothers & Mitchell, LLC, located in Buford. He serves as city attorney for Demorest and Hiawassee, while his firm represents several other cities. Mr. Mitchell represents various counties in the areas of civil rights, land use, eminent domain and nuisance. His litigation practice includes representation of numerous cities, as well as several small businesses and individuals. Mr. Mitchell also represents clients with regard to real estate, zoning and permitting, access and boundary disputes, construction, and foreclosure. He has spoken many times in the past on zoning and other land use issues. Mr. Mitchell earned his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia Law School.

Andrea L. Ciobanu
is the managing attorney at Ciobanu Law, P.C., in Indianapolis, Indiana. She represents clients throughout Indiana in civil litigation matters, including commercial and business, defamation, family and domestic relations, protective orders, civil rights and ADA compliance, as well as appellate matters. A seasoned litigator, Ms. Ciobanu has argued before the Southern and Northern districts of Indiana Federal Courts, Indiana Court of Appeals, Indiana Supreme Court and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a trained registered civil, domestic and elder mediator, guardian ad litem, and parenting coordinator. Ms. Ciobanu is also a trained collaborative law professional. She has taught introductory law classes and legal ethics courses for paralegal students at Indiana University Indianapolis. Ms. Ciobanu earned her B.A. and M.P.A. degrees, both summa cum laude, from Indiana University and her J.D. degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She is AV rated from Martindale-Hubbell and has been rated by Super Lawyers every year since 2013.

Drew P. McLaughlin
is the managing shareholder of the firm's Wilkes-Barre office. He focuses his practice on civil litigation representing governmental entities, public officials, and police officers in state and federal civil rights cases. Mr. McLaughlin also serves as solicitor to school districts and municipal authorities throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience in both trial and appellate matters. Mr. McLaughlin is an experienced trial attorney in both state and federal courts. Prior to rejoining the firm, he served as an assistant district attorney with the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office for five years, eventually promoted to chief of the major crimes unit. As an assistant district attorney, Mr. McLaughlin prosecuted violent offenders for criminal homicide, aggravated assaults, burglaries, and robberies, as well as major thefts and frauds. He earned his B.A. degree from King's College and his J.D. degree from Penn State Dickinson School of Law.

is a shareholder with the law firm of Roetzel & Andress, where he practices in business and public law litigation, appellate law, constitutional law, municipal law, and land use and zoning law. He has over 34 years of litigation experience, with the last 27 years working in Roetzel. Mr. Funk is a member of the Akron, Ohio State and Federal bar associations; and a member of the advisory group for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Miami University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
