J. Daniel Bariault

is the sole practitioner with Business Advocate Law PLLC, where he has more than 35 years of experience in all aspects of corporate and business law, with particular emphasis in tax, securities, antitrust and regulated industries. Mr. Bariault has worked with many high-tech startups in all aspects of business formation, corporate governance and business strategy. He represents marijuana producers, processors and retailers, investors and service companies supporting the emerging marijuana industry in the state of Washington. Mr. Bariault has been a staunch supporter of marijuana legalization, and his practice is limited almost exclusively to the cannabis and hemp industry. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at three universities teaching graduate business courses in finance, business development, securities and portfolio analysis, valuation analysis, and international marketing and management. Mr. Bariault is a member of the Washington State Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Washington State University, his M.B.A. from the University of Puget Sound, his master's in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and his J.D. degree from the University of Puget Sound. Mr. Bariault also holds a certificate in entrepreneurship from MIT.

Do you have options for attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing?

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
Are multiple attendee discounts available?
Yes, the more people you bring from your organization, the more you save. After the first registration, each additional attendee receives a special discount off of their total tuition.
When will the OnDemand be available and how long will I have access to the content?
The OnDemand Video will be available to stream within 14 days of live broadcast date. You will have access to the content for 6 months in your account. If you’re a subscriber, you’ll have access to your course recordings until 7 days after the expiration date of the subscription.
