Lindsey L Hobbs is an attorney at Hodges Doughty & Carson Attorneys. Her experience includes transactions with both owner financing and agency debt, as well as the transfer of assets subject to USDA Rural Development loans. Licensed in Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina, Ms. Hobbs represents both businesses and individuals in litigation related to contract and real property disputes in both state and federal courts. She advises clients in estate planning and strategic business succession planning and has participated in numerous probate litigation matters relating to elder financial exploitation and breach of fiduciary duty. Ms. Hobbs earned her B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee in 2006, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2009. Prior to returning to Knoxville, she practiced in a boutique creditors' rights firm in Savannah, Georgia, focusing on commercial litigation on behalf of financial and healthcare institutions, and matters associated with post-foreclosure commercial property transactions. Ms. Hobbs also served as counsel for creditors, including the Chapter 7 Trustee, on litigation matters in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
