David Guerrettaz

is a partner with the law firm Ziemer, Stayman, Weitzel & Shoulders, LLP located in Evansville, Indiana. He focuses his practice on immigration law primarily in three areas: employment and family-based immigration, as well as litigation before the U.S. Immigration Courts (“EOIR”). Mr. Guerrettaz is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) for which he has served on several committees, written articles on various facets of immigration law, and presented on several immigration law panels. He is also an active member of the Indiana Chapter of AILA, for which he has served as its chairman. Mr. Guerrettaz earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then earned his J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law and his Master of Arts degree in international relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Administration. Mr. Guerrettaz is a member of the Indiana State and Evansville bar associations. He serves on the Board of Directors for Indiana Legal Services, Inc., for which he served as its president between 2019 and 2021. Mr. Guerrettaz has also served as an adjunct professor of business law at the University of Evansville, where he has taught for over 20 years.

is an associate with the firm who focuses his practice on litigation and education law matters. He represents individuals, businesses, school corporations, and local governmental entities on a diverse range of matters, including commercial litigation, special education, landlord-tenant disputes, and constitutional deprivations. Mr. Lorey graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Indianapolis; where he studied public relations and business administration, wrote for the student newspaper, and played collegiate golf. He then earned his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law. During law school, Mr. Lorey gained valuable legal experience representing juveniles through his work in the law school's legal clinic and working as a summer clerk for the firm. He was also the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Procedure I and Real Property II while in law school.
