recently retired after over 33 years as an assistant Washington County attorney with the Washington County Attorney's Office in Stillwater, Minnesota. He represented Washington County in all aspects of civil law practice and also acts as a criminal prosecutor. Mr. Hodsdon represented the county sheriff and the elected county attorney, with particular emphasis with the Sheriff's Office. He remains a consultant and legal educator, providing consulting services to public criminal justice and corrections administrators, particularly Sheriff's Offices, on policy development and operations. Mr. Hodsdon is an instructor in a wide range of civil and criminal topics, including data practices and personnel, employment and labor law, discrimination and civil rights law, corrections law, and liability and civil commitments. He is an instructor for the International Academy of Public Safety, National Institute of Corrections and the Minnesota State College System. Mr. Hodsdon is an adjunct faculty member for the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. He is counsel to the Minnesota Sheriff's Association and provides legal advice and representation to the association and its members; including emergency operations, patrol, jail personnel and employment law, and all other matters relating to operation of the Sheriff's Office, as well as management of a non-profit organization. In this position, Mr. Hodsdon serves as corporate counsel to the association, as well as assists individual members. He serves as a citizen member and chair of the board that licenses Minnesota private detectives and protective agents. Prior to Washington County, Mr. Hodsdon spent a year in private practice and eight years as an assistant Minnesota attorney general. He earned his B.A. degree from Concordia College, his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and his master's degree in public administration from Hamline University. Mr. Hodsdon is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Sheriffs Association and the National Sheriffs Association (Legal Advisors Committee), and is admitted to practice before the Minnesota Supreme Court, federal courts and the United States Supreme Court.

is a partner with Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, where he practices in the government, and tort and catastrophic loss national practice sections of the firm's Atlanta Office. He focuses his practice on defending local governments and their officers against federal civil rights claims and related state law claims. Mr. Jackson has tried cases in state and federal courts in Georgia. He has argued appeals before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Eleventh Circuit concerning issues of qualified immunity, sovereign immunity, Fourth Amendment claims, and negligent road maintenance. Mr. Jackson has defended many cities, counties, sheriffs, deputies, and police officers in a variety of high-profile cases involving excessive force, false arrest, malicious prosecution, false imprisonment, high-speed pursuits, and conditions of confinement in local jails. He has also defended businesses against a variety of tort claims, including premises liability, negligent security, dog bites, defamation, and products liability. Mr. Jackson earned his B.A. degree in English and his B.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Georgia, where he graduated with high honors from the Honors Program. He received his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt Law School. While in law school, Mr. Jackson served as an articles editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review, and a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing program. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Tennessee.

is a partner at Schlachman, Belsky, Weiner & Davey, P.A., where he employs his extensive background in criminal law, administrative law and civil litigation to handle complex litigation in both state and federal courts. In addition to handling personal injury, civil rights and criminal matters, his practice also includes appeals, juvenile matters, and peace and protective order proceedings. Mr. Ball received his undergraduate education at the University of Maryland at College Park as a Banneker Key Scholar, where he graduated with dual degrees in government and politics, and African American studies. As an undergrad, he engaged in activities that provided a strong foundation for his analytical and trial skills, competing as part of the University of Maryland Mock Trial Team, serving as second vice president for the NAACP, serving as a representative on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, and acting as a community advocate for University Student Judiciary. Mr. Ball was also a contributing writer to various campus publications, honing his writing skills that he continues to utilize in his practice today. Following his undergraduate education, he earned his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. As a law student, Mr. Ball continued his involvement in activities to strengthen his trial skills. He coached the Arizona State University Undergraduate Mock Trial Team, competed in various internal and external mock trial and moot court competitions, served as a research assistant, served as president for the Black Law Student Association, and prosecuted misdemeanor bench and jury trials as a student attorney with the Scottsdale Prosecutor’s Office. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Ball has served as an adjunct professor at Towson University in the Mass Communication and Communication Studies Department. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the U.S. District Court District of Maryland.
