Cynthia Uduebor Washington
is of special counsel at Baker Botts L.L.P. She helps employers of all sizes and across many industries, make sense of workplace law so that they can continue doing what they do best, delivering their goods and services to people who seek them. Ms. Washington advises employers on a broad range of labor and employment law matters, including issues arising under the ADEA, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, Title VII, USERRA, WARN, and other federal, state, and local labor and employment laws. Her practice encompasses counseling employers on personnel decisions and policy development, litigation defense and prevention, internal and governmental workplace investigations, and training on workplace law developments and compliance. Ms. Washington is a skilled litigator with appellate, class action, and complex litigation experience; and has represented clients in disputes before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrators. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from University of North Texas; and her J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law.

M. Wilson Stoker
is a partner at FisherBroyles, LLP. He is an employment law counselor and mediator who is board-certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Stoker provides companies with practical, proactive advice. He regularly works with management to resolve day-to-day personnel issues such as leave abuse, discipline, and termination. Mr. Stoker frequently conducts workplace training and provides compliance assistance in all areas, including harassment investigations, auditing human resources practices, handbook policies, and general counsel advice. He has litigated a wide range of employment lawsuits in state and federal courts and administrative agencies throughout the United States. Mr. Stoker has defended businesses against allegations involving FMLA, ADA, FLSA, wage and hour, Title VII harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, as well as state law claims. He has worked with employers across industries to successfully defend DOL, EEOC, and TWC complaints and investigations. In addition, Mr. Stoker has particular experience assisting government contractors with all aspects of OFCCP affirmative action compliance, including developing and maintaining affirmative action plans. He earned his B.S. degree from Ithaca College and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Patrick S. Richter
is an attorney at Rigby Slack Lawrence Pepper + Comerford PLLC. His practice consists of representing employers in all aspects of the employment relationship, from preventive counseling and advice, to drafting and negotiating contracts, to litigation. Mr. Richter has significant litigation experience involving federal and state employment and labor statutes, intellectual property and trade secrets, covenants not to compete, stock option agreements, employment contracts and wrongful discharge claims. He is a frequent speaker before business and employer associations, including the Austin Bar Association. Mr. Richter is board-certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He graduated from University of Houston Law School, with honors, and was an associate editor of the Houston Law Review.

Angeles Garcia Cassin
is a partner at Sheppard Mullin. She is a skilled trial lawyer, who helps companies defend against employees' claims of discrimination, retaliation, and unpaid wages. Ms. Cassin also helps companies protect their confidential information and defend against claims alleging misappropriation of trade secrets. She advises employers on compliance with federal, state, and local laws, drafts policies and employment agreements, provides guidance on corrective actions, and counsels clients on proper documentation and best practices. Ms. Cassin represents companies of all sizes and works with in-house counsel and human resources personnel to proactively avoid litigation. She successfully negotiated to significantly reduce penalties imposed by the DOL for alleged misclassification of employees and improper retention of tips. Ms. Cassin also has experience helping companies navigate investigations by the Department of Justice Immigrant and Employee Rights Section stemming from Form I-9 employment verification practices and the use of E-Verify. She earned her B.A. degree from Wellesley College and her J.D. degree from University of Houston Law Center.

is an attorney at Andrews Myers, P.C. As a board-certified labor and employment attorney, he regularly advises clients on various labor and employment issues such as discrimination, trade secrets, non-competes, non-solicits, unfair labor practice charges, FMLA leave, benefits policies, employment manuals and policies, wage and hour laws, employment contracts, worker's compensation, WARN Act, OSHA, and more. Mr. Chitale routinely drafts employment manuals, employee wage and hour classification policies, employment contracts, severance agreements, bonus agreements and more in a manner that best protects his clients' interests. A significant portion of his practice involves dealing with government agencies such as the EEOC, Department of Labor, NLRB, DHS, OSHA and even the IRS. Mr. Chitale earned his B.A. degree from Texas A&M University and his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
