Emily A. Johnson
, CFP, CDFA, ChFC, CLU, is the founder and managing director of Divorce & QDRO, a division of Polaris Capital Advisors, LLC, serving divorcing clients and their attorneys throughout the southeast since 2009. Divorce & QDRO provides financial and tax analysis, litigation support, complex retirement and incentive plan review, QDRO preparation and review, and pension valuation services. Prior to founding Divorce & QDRO, Ms. Johnson worked in financial analysis and private banking roles for companies including Credit Suisse First Boston, UBS Private Client, Merrill Lynch Private Client, and Wachovia Leveraged Finance. She earned her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in Plan II Honors, from the University of Texas at Austin, and her M.B.A. degree, with a concentration in international finance, from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. Ms. Johnson has spoken extensively to legal and financial professional organizations on topics ranging from complex retirement plans in divorce, critical financial errors in divorce and The Bag Lady Syndrome. She has earned the following certifications: Certified Financial Planner, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter.

Heather B. Sobel
is a partner with the law firm of Wolinetz | Horvath | Brown in Columbus, Ohio. She has dedicated her entire career to representing clients in family law matters. Ms. Sobel is experienced at both negotiating and litigating complex family law cases involving issues ranging from business valuations and property division, to spousal and child support, to custody litigation. She earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from The Ohio State University.

Terrence J. Benshoof
holds a J.D. degree and a Master of Law in taxation from De Paul University. He has over 50 years of experience in a variety of family, taxation and business law areas. Mr. Benshoof is of counsel to the firm of Calabrese Associates, P.C. in Warrenville, Illinois. As a practitioner, he has focused in the family law area, on matters concerning divorce actions involving military spouses, military pay and benefit issues, retired pay division, and application of the Service Members Civil Relief Act. Mr. Benshoof has lectured on these topics to the Chicago, DuPage and Will County bar associations in Illinois, and for National Business Institute in local and national webcast seminars. He also practices in the area of general taxation, business tax planning, trusts and estates, real estate, and commercial litigation. Mr. Benshoof has published numerous articles on military issues in family law and on property taxation. A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General's Corps, he served as National Judge Advocate (general counsel) for the 45,000 member Reserve Organization of America, and has served on its Board of Directors for five years. Mr. Benshoof served as Referendary General (chief judge of the Tribunal) of the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem for eight years. He also serves as vice president of the Board of Directors of the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton, Illinois.

Nancy C. Richmond
is a partner of Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, P.C. and has over 25 years of experience exclusively practicing family law. She is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney. She has experience handling any type of family law case, no matter how complex the issues may be. While being a fierce advocate, Ms. Richmond is resolution oriented. She has successfully settled, tried and arbitrated matters involving all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody and parenting time, equitable distribution, prenuptial agreements, relocation issues, adoptions, domestic violence as well as appellate practice. Ms. Richmond has lectured attorneys on various family law topics with the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and ATLA. She earned her J.D. degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, and her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College with a B.A. degree in international affairs with a concentration in Russian. While at the Dickinson School of Law, Ms. Richmond was a member of the Dickinson Journal of International Law, for which she published an article, "Israel's Law of Return: Analysis of Its Evolution and Present Application."

is a Partner at Whitbeck Bennett, where she focuses her practice on family law issues of divorce, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support (alimony), and equitable distribution of property. She is recognized in The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers. Ms. Williams is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association (Family Law Section), Fairfax County Circuit Court Committee, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She earned her B.S. and B.A. degrees from San Diego State University and her J.D. degree from California Western School of Law.
