She is the Omaha office managing partner at Duggan Bertsch. Ms. Vandenack's practice serves businesses and business owners, fund developers, executives, real estate developers and investors, health care providers, companies in the financial industry, the technology industry, and tax-exempt organizations. She is recognized for her innovative integrations of technology in the legal practice and was honored by the American Bar Association with the James I. Keane Award and inducted into Women in Legal Tech. Ms. Vandenack is a frequent writer and nationwide speaker, as well as a commentator for Leimburg Services, a nationally recognized publication in the areas of tax, trusts and estates, benefits, and asset protection. She is actively involved in the American College of Trust and Estate Council (ACTEC), the ABA Real Property Trust and Estate Section as well as the ABA Law Practice Management Division and is a consultant for Interactive Legal. Ms. Vandenack earned her Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA, Business, accounting, summa cum Laude from the College of Saint Mary and her J.D. degree magna cum laude (editor-in-chief law review; Alpha Sigma Nu) from Creighton University School of Law. Additionally, he deals with all estate and probate related tax issues. Mr. Cauble earned his B.A. degree (Departmental Honors) from Willamette University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, (Phi Alpha Delta) from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar board of Governors, Oregon State Bar Administrative Law Executive Committee (chair, 2009), Oregon State Bar House of Delegates and the Oregon State Bar Judicial Administration Committee. Ms. Spencer taught estate and gift tax for eight years as an adjunct professor at Boston University in the LL.M. program, and also was a former professor of trusts and estates at Boston University School of Law. In addition, she has spoken numerous times on topics related to her areas of expertise. Ms. Spencer is the author of a weekly column Taxing Matters, which appeared in the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal's Business Monday Section for 14 years. She also has written Pennsylvania Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts Library: Forms and Practice Manual, Data Trace, which is updated annually. Ms. Spencer earned her B.A. degree from Dickinson College, her J.D. degree from Boston University and her LL.M. degree from Boston University. is a partner with Selzer Gurvitch Rabin Wertheimer & Polott, P.C. where he is a lawyer and an accountant, he began his career as a CPA before pursuing a legal career. That dual-dimensional background has served Mr. Bornstein well in his estate planning, estate and trust administration work, preparing estate and gift tax returns, prenuptial agreements, and representing clients in estate and trust litigation. He has also handled numerous estate tax IRS audits, some of which involved large multimillion dollar matters of considerable complexity. In fulfilling his instructional instincts, he teaches estate planning, estate tax, and trust and estate income tax continuing education courses for accounting firms. Mr. Bornstein regularly teaches advanced estate planning courses to other estate planning attorneys through the continuing education program of the Maryland State Bar Association ("MSBA"). Additionally, he has taught estate planning and Medicaid planning seminars and webinars to many organizations, including the Department of Justice and the AICPA National Tax Conference. He believes strongly in giving back to the legal profession, and community, having served as co-chair of the Maryland State Bar Association's (MSBA) Pro Bono Committee. Since 2005, Mr. Bornstein has also been active in the Wills for Heroes program, serving as an instructor/reviewer teaching estate planning to volunteer attorneys who prepare wills and powers of attorney for police officers, firefighters, military officers and other first responders. After graduating with a J.D. degree (with honors) from the University of Maryland School Of Law, he completed a judicial clerkship at the Circuit Court of Baltimore City. Mr. Bornstein is currently a member of the MSBA's Estates and Trusts Section Council, serving on a legislation committee tasked to draft legislation to improve the laws governing statutory powers of attorney. He also serves as the council's liaison with the MSBA's Elder Law Section Council. Mr. Bornstein served as a member for many years and ultimately became the chair of the MSBA's Taxation Section Council. He was also past co-chair of the Maryland State Bar Association & Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants Advanced Tax Institute. He graduated from Guilford College with a bachelors degree in business management and health sciences. Mr. Beguin later graduated from Elon University School of Law with an emphasis on business and corporate law. During his law school experience, he was able to work with his law school's Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he was able to experience a variety of legal issues that businesses of all sizes may become exposed to; as well as received experience in contract drafting ranging from secured transactions and stock purchase agreements to non-disclosure agreements. Mr. Beguin has also been named the Josephine County Bar President and currently resides on the Oregon Bar House of Delegates as a result. He is admitted to practice in Oregon.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
