a business trial lawyer at Franklin Soto Leeds LLP, who has tried nearly 50 jury trials in his career. He handles cases throughout California and beyond, focusing primarily on business litigation and insurance coverage/bad faith litigation. Mr. Franklin has represented mutual funds, contractors, developers, manufacturers, law firms, accounting firms, medical practices, small businesses, and individuals as both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of high-stakes disputes, including class actions. In the insurance coverage/bad faith arena, he only represents policyholders. Mr. Franklin regularly handles matters arising out of an array of insurance policies, including directors and officers liability ("D&O"), errors and omissions ("E&O"), commercial general liability ("CGL"), and cyber liability. He has also written and presented on the topic of cyber insurance coverage. Mr. Franklin served as the chair of the San Diego County Bar Association's Insurance/Bad Faith Law Section. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Forham University and his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Tony obtained his J.D. degree in 1996, graduating, cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He has worked as a civil trial lawyer for nearly 30 years, representing both insurers and insureds in litigation. Tony, along with his partner Guy S. DiMartino, founded Ashford DiMartino to meet a need among insurance policyholders to have legal representation in claims and lawsuits against their insurance companies. Mr. Ashford is also a frequent lecturer in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, as well as civil trials.

In addition to being extensively published and a sought-after presenter and quoted expert, she holds an M.B.A. degree, with minors in healthcare and entrepreneurship, from Vanderbilt University; and a law degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated with various honors, including the National Scribes Award. Ms. Rose also attained a certificate in negotiation and leadership from Harvard University. She is licensed in Texas, and is a fellow of the Federal Bar Association. Currently, Ms. Rose serves as a director on the FBA's National Board. She is a member of and the immediate past chair of the Federal Bar Association's Government Relations Committee, member of the Advisory Board of the Federal Bar Association's Qui Tam Section, co-editor of the American Health Lawyers Association's Enterprise Risk Management Handbook for Healthcare Entities (2nd Edition), and a co-author of the ABA's books The ABCs of ACOs and What Are International HIPAA Considerations? Ms. Rose is extensively published and presents on a variety of matters related to her practice. She has been named consecutively to the Texas Bar College, National Women Trial Lawyers Association's Top 25, Houstonia Magazine's Top Lawyers (healthcare law), National Trial Lawyers Association's Top 100 and The Nation's Top One Percent. Ms. Rose was awarded 1st Healthcare Compliance's 2019 and 2022 Top Presenter Award. In 2023, she was selected for Super Lawyers (healthcare). In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
