Allen S. Gehring, Jr.
is an attorney with Kozloff Stoudt Attorneys, where he practices in a wide range of areas including higher education law, labor and employment law, and litigation. Mr. Gehring graduated with academic honors, cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. While at Georgetown, he worked in the United States Congress in the House of Representatives on the Committee on Education and the Workforce, which oversees the nation’s education and employment laws. Mr. Gehring also worked in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. During 2018-2019, he served as a staff member on Georgetown’s American Criminal Law Review. In addition, Mr. Gehring earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, in philosophy and history from Cedarville University; his M.A. degree in philosophy from Texas A&M University; and his Ph.D. degree in philosophy from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Alexandra Lynch
is an attorney in Margolis Edelstein's Labor and Employment group in the Philadelphia office. She has experience in a variety of employment related matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and hostile work environment. Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Ms. Lynch worked as an associate concentrating in employment practices litigation and general litigation. She earned her B.S. degree from Ursinus College and her J.D. degree from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

Emily E. Mahler
is a partner in the Pittsburgh office in Margolis Edelstein's Employment and Labor Law group. She represents employers in labor and employment litigation, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract and wage disputes. Ms. Mahler represents corporations, small businesses, nonprofit organizations and public entities. She appears regularly in federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and other state and local administrative agencies. Ms. Mahler is a certified arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. She also counsels employers on employment policies, employee discipline and terminations, as well as compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Opportunity Reporting Act, Truth in Lending and identity theft, and other state and federal regulations. Ms. Mahler drafts and assists employers with implementation of employee manuals, policies and procedures. She also drafts and provides guidance on severance agreements, noncompete and confidentiality agreements. Ms. Mahler earned her B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law.

Edward J. Bonett, Jr.
is counsel in the Newark office of Genova Burns, LLC. He is a seasoned senior labor relations attorney whose focus is representing employers in union contract negotiations and unfair labor practice proceedings. With over two decades of experience at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in Philadelphia, Mr. Bonett has honed his skills in all facets of litigation, from investigating unfair labor practice charges to litigating National Labor Relations Act cases. With a wealth of experience in labor law and dispute resolution, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills, Edward J. Bonett, Jr., Esq., Counsel, is a distinguished legal professional respected by peers on both the management and labor sides. Mr. Bonett is a confident litigator, public speaker, and persuasive legal writer. He earned his B.S. degree from Drexel University, his M.B.A. degree from Villanova University and his J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law.

Jennifer L. DeFlitch
is an attorney in the Pittsburgh office of Margolis Edelstein. She is a seasoned litigation attorney with over 15 years of experience. Ms. DeFlitch began her legal career in the energy sector, specializing in oil and gas law, before transitioning to criminal defense. For over eight years, she served at the Westmoreland County Public Defender's Office, where she managed a diverse caseload, from minor summary offenses to serious homicides, guiding clients through all stages of the legal process, including preliminary hearings and appeals. Ms. DeFlitch's trial experience is extensive, encompassing numerous non-jury and jury trials with significant successes. She is renowned for her vigorous defense strategies, often achieving case dismissals through pre-trial motions. Ms. DeFlitch is a dedicated educator at Westmoreland County Community College, where she teaches courses in legal research, writing, and estates and trusts. She earned her B.A. degree from Bucknell University and her J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law.

As a member of the firm's executive committee, board of directors, and co-chair of its labor and employment practice group, Ms. Gallagher brings over three decades of diverse experience to her clients. With a career spanning both private practice and in-house roles, she offers a unique perspective on traditional labor law, employment law, and litigation. Ms. Gallagher's expertise encompasses managing complex legal matters, including class action litigation, overseeing corporate acquisitions, finance, and governance, and handling employment-related legal issues across various industries. Margaret Ryder
is an attorney in the labor and employment group of the Philadelphia office. Before joining Margolis Edelstein, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable M. Susan Sheppard, Presiding Judge of General Equity, serving the New Jersey Superior Court in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. During this time, Ms. Ryder was trained as a court mediator and participated in small claims, special civil, and landlord tenant mediations to assist parties in reaching a resolution. She graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School. During her time in law school, Ms. Ryder served as a staff editor on the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and worked as an intern for Delaware Law School's Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic. She also completed judicial externships with the Honorable Bret M. Binder of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas and the Honorable Paul R. Wallace of the Delaware Superior Court, Complex Commercial Litigation Division. Prior to law school, Ms. Ryder graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University, where she majored in criminology and minored in law and legal studies, and psychology. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
