He wrote the sales and use tax, gross income tax, inheritance tax, and property tax explanations for the Indiana Section of Research Institute of America's State and Local Tax Service. Mr. Clement earned his B.B.A. degree, with high honors, from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan. After 22 years, Ms. Chezem resigned from the Indiana Court of Appeals to become the department head and a professor of 4-H Youth Development in the College of Agriculture, Purdue University. She served as a special assistant to the director of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Ms. Chezem now holds an appointment as a professor emerita of Youth Development and Agricultural Education, Purdue University and an adjunct professor appointment at the Indiana University School of Medicine Alcohol Research Center. She is a past chair of the Morgan County, Indiana Board of Health and co-author of the first public health law bench book in the United States. Ms. Chezem earned her B.S. degree from Indiana State University and her J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law.

Prior to going into the private practice of law, Ms. Deeter spent 35 years working for bank trust departments, where she worked in a variety of roles, including trust and estate administration, fiduciary income taxation, estate and gift taxation, and as in-house trust counsel. The last 18 years of her trust department career were spent with The National Bank of Indianapolis, from which she retired in 2013. Ms. Deeter is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis (now known as the Indiana University Robert H.
