Speaker bio
Andrew L. Crabtree
is the principal of the Law Offices of Andrew L. Crabtree, P.C., where his firm focuses on transactional and litigated real estate, landlord-tenant, construction and general commercial business matters. Mr. Crabtree has a broad background in residential condominium development and sales in commercial leasing, and represents commercial owners, developers, purchasers and tenants, including a national franchise chain, in commercial leasing and landlord and tenant matters. He represents businesses and individuals in federal and state trial courts, as well as in arbitrations and before administrative tribunals involving commercial disputes, constitutional claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, business torts, unfair competition, employment claims, trade secrets, and intellectual property cases. Mr. Crabtree also represents contractors, owners, developers, design professionals, municipalities and state agencies relating to public and private construction and development projects, mechanics' liens, commercial lease disputes, and landlord-tenant matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association. Mr. Crabtree earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. degree from Fordham University Law School.

Matthew S. Blum
is an attorney at Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. He is a member with the firm's litigation department. As a litigator and trial counsel in several New York State and multistate law firms, Mr. Blum is a seasoned trial attorney, having represented clients in matters dealing in complex commercial, financial/securities, and real estate litigation. He has handled more than fifty trials through judgment and appeal, as well as appeals before all four New York Appellate Departments and California Court of Appeals. Mr. Blum has represented Fortune 250 and closely-held corporations, manufacturers and distributors, military contractors, casinos, financial institutions, and government agencies. He has prosecuted and defended complex cases in a wide array of commercial practice areas concerning, for example, copyright, Lanham Act, trademark infringement, interbank disputes, mergers/acquisitions, derivative shareholder claims, partnership disputes/business dissolution, 18 U.S.C. 1962(a-d) RICO violations, construction, antitrust, Defend Trade Secrets Act/corporate espionage, and real estate disputes. Mr. Blum earned his B.A. degree from University of Florida, his J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law and his M.B.A. degree from Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University.
