Speaker bio
Austin Scarborough
is an attorney at Young/Sommer LLC. He joined Young/Sommer in 2023 and focuses his area of practice on energy, environmental, and land use law. Prior to joining Young/Sommer, Mr. Scarborough worked at other law firms in the Capital Region, where he assisted clients on various energy, environmental, land use, and cybersecurity matters. He provides counsel on matters such as environmental compliance, due diligence, and obtaining permits and approvals at local and state levels. Mr. Scarborough also regularly presents on wetlands issues and updates at the state and federal level. He earned his J.D. degree from Vermont Law School in 2021 with a concentration in energy law. During law school, Mr. Scarborough devoted the majority of his coursework to energy and environmental law; worked in the Vermont Law School Energy Clinic, where he helped clients obtain community solar approvals; and interned at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in the Office of Administrative Legislation.

Amy Cann
is the founder of Cann Law, P.C. As an experienced business professional and attorney with a diverse background, she specializes in providing comprehensive legal solutions to organizations and individuals. With a sharp focus on legal compliance, problem resolution, and risk management, Ms. Cann's expertise spans employment law, OSHA and safety, and business law; as well as effective representation at the agency level, in mediation and in court. Michael M. Nelson
is the founder of DFDR Consulting LLC, and has consulted on and examined data for numerous personal, corporate, criminal, civil and domestic cases. He has testified, been deposed and submitted affidavits as a digital forensics expert on multiple occasions in multiple states. Mr. Nelson was acknowledged in EnCE The Official EnCase Certified Examiner Study Guide (second and third editions) and Mastering Windows Network Forensics and Investigation (second edition). He has also been published in eForensics Magazine for SQL investigation techniques. In addition to authoring, Mr. Nelson has also presented at the Legal Intelligencer's Litigation Summit on eDiscovery Practice Tips, as well as on forensics and eDiscovery tips for Prime Global and Wolters Kluwer CCH. Furthermore he has spoken on obtaining life data, Macintosh forensics and building a flexible eDiscovery process for Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence. Mr. Nelson served as a panel expert on cybersecurity and compliance for the East Coast Gaming Congress & iGaming Institute. He was also a featured speaker at multiple National Business Institute events. Mr. Nelson is a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), Infragard (Federal Bureau of Investigation's Collaborative Infrastructure Protection Society), International Association of Computer Investigation Specialists (IACIS) and the Philadelphia Area Chapter of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
