Speaker bio
Cara L. Santosuosso
is an attorney with the Law Offices of Cara L. Santosuosso, LLC, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation, primarily in the areas of family law. She also assists clients in family law matters as a mediator and parenting coordinator. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Santosuosso served as an associate with another prominent area firm, where she concentrated in civil and criminal litigation in the state and federal courts. She previously served as a judicial attorney in the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals, where she worked on cases dealing with administrative law, torts, labor and employment, product liability, medical malpractice, criminal law, and a host of other matters. Ms. Santosuosso also served in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office as an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Children and Family Services Unit. She began her legal career in private practice. Ms. Santosuosso earned her undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and her J.D. degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, and has written and lectured on legal topics relating primarily to issues in family law. She is admitted the Ohio State Bar Association; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio; and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Santosuosso is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, West Shore Bar Association and the Justinian Forum.
