Nancy L. McCoy
is an attorney and director at Simpson, Garrity, Innes & Jacuzzi, P.C. She has comprehensive experience handling employment law matters before all state and federal courts, as well as before various state, federal and local agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Labor (DOL), Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB), among others. Ms. McCoy has extensive expertise in the areas of discrimination, harassment and retaliation; wrongful termination; management of employees with disabilities, protected leaves of absence and requesting reasonable accommodation; wage and hour compliance; drug testing and substance abuse management; privacy; hiring practices; employment contracts; terminations and reductions in force; workplace safety and violence prevention; workplace investigations; whistle-blowing; and trade secrets and unfair business practices. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of California and her J.D. degree from Golden Gate University School of Law.

D. Scott Crook
is a founding member and the managing partner of Crook Legal Group PLLC, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of employment and labor, commercial litigation, appellate practice, land use, and water law. He is a member of both the Utah and Idaho state bars and has extensive experience in both states. Mr. Crook has spoken on or written articles about employment issues, local government law, boundary law, road and access law, jury selection, law firm management, and appellate practice. He is a member of the Utah State Bar; Employment and Labor Section, Litigation Section, Solo Small Firm & Rural Practice Section, and Appellate Practice Section. Mr. Crook earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Weber State and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University - J. Reuben Clark Law School.

Ralph R. Smith, III
is a shareholder and co-chair of the labor and employment group of Capehart & Scatchard, P.A. He focuses his practice in employment litigation and preventative employment practices, including counseling employers on the creation of employment policies, non-compete and trade secret agreements, and training employers to avoid employment-related litigation. Mr. Smith represents both companies and individuals in related complex commercial litigation before federal state courts and administrative agencies in labor and employment cases; including race, gender, age, national origin, disability and workplace harassment and discrimination matters, wage-and-hour disputes, restrictive covenants, grievances, arbitrations, drug testing, and employment-related contract issues. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
