Paul R. Miller
is an attorney with The Law Office of Paul Miller in Santa Rosa, California, practicing exclusively estate planning and estate administration law. He served as the Director of Legal Services at the Council on Aging in Santa Rosa from June 2014 to May 2016. Mr. Miller is a member of the State Bar of California. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of California - Davis, his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Empire College School of Law; and he is currently obtaining dual LL.M. degrees in taxation and estate planning at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Mr. Miller is a regular lecturer for estate planneing to other attorneys, CPAs, colleges, and non-profit groups.

Jeffrey J. Whitehead
is an owner and partner of Whitehead & Burnett, where he practices business formations, real estate law, civil litigation, gun law, e-commerce law, and estate planning. Mr. Whitehead has practiced before the courts of Nevada, Arizona and New York, both in state and federal, and he has practiced before the probate courts. He has been involved in drafting statutes. Mr. Whitehead is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of Arizona, Colorado and New York State bar associations, and the American Health Lawyers Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, and his B.A. and J.D. degrees, cum laude, from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. Mr. Whitehead has taught as Cornell University since 2014.

Matthew E. Rappaport
chairs Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP's Taxation and Private Client groups. He concentrates his practice in taxation as it relates to real estate, closely held businesses, private equity funds, family offices, and trusts and estates. Mr. Rappaport advises clients regarding tax planning, structuring and compliance for commercial real estate projects, all stages of the business life cycle, generational wealth transfer, family business succession, and executive compensation. He also collaborates with other attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, bankers, and insurance professionals when they encounter matters requiring a threshold level of tax law expertise. Mr. Rappaport earned his J.D. degree and his Master of Laws in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member and admitted to practice in the state of New York and the U.S. Tax Court.

Mr. Smith is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Special Needs Planners and ElderCounsel. He is an accredited attorney by the Veterans Administration. Mr. Smith earned his MDiv degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary and his J.D. degree from University of Memphis-Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

is an attorney and shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP's Miami location, where he develops tax-planning strategies for closely held family businesses, partnerships, and publicly held corporations with significant domestic and international operations. He works closely with high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial companies to develop elegant, tax-sensitive approaches to their complex business transactions, financial situations, estate planning matters, and real estate investments, as well as to pursue tax efficiency throughout their operations. Mr. Bakal's practice includes advising closely held businesses on the tax consequences of critical transactions, including structuring joint ventures and asset and stock purchase agreements. In addition, he advises executives in tax-sensitive compensation matters and the owners of controlling stakes in publicly held corporations. Mr. Bakal earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Yale University; and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, Illinois, and the U.S. Tax Court.
