Carree K. Nahama
is the founder and owner of Nahama Law, celebrating its tenth anniversary of dedicated service to injured children and their families. With a reputation for compassion, diligence and exceptional results, Ms. Nahama leads her legal team to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives. An award-winning trial attorney, she was honored with the prestigious "Streetfighter" award by Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (CASD) in 2023. Throughout her career, Ms. Nahama has exemplified the highest standards of civility and professionalism, setting a benchmark for others in the legal field. She is a Bencher and team leader for the Louis M. Welsh Inn of Court, where she fosters mentorship, ethical advocacy, and professional growth among peers. As co-chair of the Women's Caucus for CASD, Ms. Nahama champions initiatives that empower attorneys and promote inclusivity within the legal community. Guided by the Latin phrase "bona fide", she embodies authenticity, integrity and passion. A committed volunteer and gifted connector, Ms. Nahama is known for her advocacy of intergenerational collaboration and her ability to unite professionals across various specializations and firm sizes.

Wendy L. Patrick, Ph.D.
is a career prosecutor, presented by the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court with the California Public Lawyer of the Year award from the State Bar's Public Law Section. She was named as one of the 2024 Top Professional Responsibility Lawyers by the State Bar of California and honored with the 2023 Instructor of the Year Award by the California District Attorneys Association. Dr. Patrick was also recognized by her peers as one of the top ten criminal attorneys in San Diego by the San Diego Daily Transcript. She has completed over 165 trials ranging from hate crimes to domestic violence to first-degree murder. Before becoming a prosecutor, Dr. Patrick was a trial attorney and team leader in the San Diego Public Defender's office. She is the owner and founder of Black Swan Verdicts. Dr. Patrick is also a longtime member of the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court in San Diego, California.
