Anthony Sheffy

is the founding partner of Sheffy, DeNigris, Grey & Bedard LLP, which is located centrally in Southington, Connecticut. He has taken jury verdicts in state and federal court recovering substantial compensation for families, including those whose lives have been dramatically altered by a sudden death or brain injury, as well as on behalf of Lloyd's of London, Omni and other insurers. Mr. Sheffy has written and lectured on topics ranging from the fundamentals of presenting civil jury cases to advanced evidence techniques for attorneys experienced in the courtroom. He has been honored as a member of the Order of Justitia in the Litigation Counsel of America; a fellow of the American Bar Foundation; designated as a Top 100 Lawyers in America; and designated as a Super Lawyer in Connecticut since 2011. Mr. Sheffy earned his B.S. degree in combined music and physics from Lebanon Valley College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Western New England School of Law. He is admitted to the bar for Connecticut state courts and the Federal District Court for the state of Connecticut.

is a partner in the Insurance Recovery, Litigation and Counseling practice group. She counsels a broad range of corporate and individual clients on insurance coverage matters including commercial property and business interruption coverage, errors and omissions ("E&O") liability, directors and officers ("D&O") liability, personal and advertising injury, and commercial general liability. Ms. Strutt also provides advice to clients interested in assessing their potential risks and the adequacy of their existing insurance programs. In addition, she represents corporate clients involved in commercial and contractual disputes. Ms. Strutt has experience with all phases of litigation, up to and including trial, in the federal and state courts of Connecticut. She has assisted in the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars for clients. Ms. Strutt also provides pro bono legal assistance to individuals seeking asylum in the United States. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude (co-managing editor, Connecticut Insurance Law Journal) from Wake Forest University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Ms. Strutt is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association (House of Delegates), executive committee member/director of professional development for the Young Lawyers Section, co-founding member of the Insurance Law Committee of the Young Lawyers Section, Connecticut Legal Services (Stamford Day Laborer Clinic), Colorado Bar Association and Colorado Women's Bar Association. is a partner with Brown Paindiris & Scott, LLP. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years. He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, employment litigation, medical malpractice, product liability, and class actions. In addition to Connecticut, Mr. Newman has successfully tried cases in New York and California. Based on his accomplishments, he has been selected by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Lawyer from 2013-2024. Mr. Newman has been ranked as being in the Top 1% of all attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel for 2015-2025. He has also been designated by his peers as a Connecticut Super Lawyer in the Connecticut Super Lawyer Magazine, Personal Injury for Plaintiff's Law, 2017 - 2024. Mr. Newman is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Association for Justice, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association.
