Johnjerica Hodge
is a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Washington, D.C., where she co-chairs the ESG risk and investigations practice. She focuses on environmental, social, and governance issues, providing counsel to companies across a number of heavily regulated industries. Leveraging her investigatory skills, Ms. Hodge works with companies and institutions to identify areas of vulnerability and opportunity within the organization and its policies and procedures. She also assists companies facing ESG-related litigation risks and counsels organizations on the myriad of regulatory developments in the ESG sector and various ESG-related issues. Ms. Hodge also represents clients in internal and governmental investigations, corporate compliance and appellate litigation across industries. She focuses part of her practice on helping health care providers respond to investigations and related matters under the False Claims Act that involve allegations of fraudulent billing and violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute. In addition to teaching multiple law school courses on human capital management and the role of racial equity audits in the ESG movement, Ms. Hodge holds several ESG certifications from institutions such as The Wharton School and University of California, Berkeley, and is co-authoring a book on ESG. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, National Law Journal, and Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Ms. Hodge earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees at University of Alabama, and is admitted to practice in Texas and District of Columbia.

Christopher A. Cole
is a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman in Washington, DC. He is the co-chair of the firm's advertising, marketing, and promotions practice. Mr. Cole is a nationally-recognized litigator who offers strategic counsel to some of the world's leading companies on protecting their technology and brands from attack by competitors, regulators and private consumer class action claimants. He advises clients in a wide range of industries and sectors on how to navigate advertising, unfair competition, brand disparagement, reputation and intellectual property matters.Mr. Cole has extensive experience in litigating Lanham Act and consumer class action cases, defending against claims brought by the Federal Trade Commission, and handling disputes before the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau. He counsels clients of all types and sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, in connection with domestic and international issues relating to advertising, competition and product regulation. Mr. Cole is well-versed on advertising claims substantiation, product testing and consumer research, and consumer protection regulatory due diligence in transactions. He is well-known for helping companies understand their obligations regarding advertising of ESG-related claims, including claims about carbon offset, waste reduction and recycling, and social issues. Mr. Cole has been rated at the top of various guides for lawyers, including Chambers USA, which recognizes him in the highest ranking possible for Advertising: NAD and among the top six lawyers in the country for Advertising Litigation. He earned his B.S. degree at Yale University, his M.S. degree at University of Miami and his J.D. degree at Boston University School of Law.
