Speaker bio
Kerrianne A. Donovan
is a licensed title agent for Pennsylvania and West Virginia for the law firm of Bowles Rice LLP in its Canonsburg, Pennsylvania (Southpointe) office. She has broad experience in the sale and acquisition of real property that involves residential, commercial and industrial properties; new developments; vacant land and subdivisions and like-kind exchanges; including title examination, clearing title, corporate due diligence, closing and settlement. Ms. Donovan specializes in new construction transactions and Pennsylvania property tax analysis, including interim taxes. She routinely handles title insurance for transactions in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and collaborates with national and regional developers, builders and lenders. She is on the Education Commitment for the Pennsylvania Land Title Association. Ms. Donovan earned her associate degree from Douglas School of Business and a certificate in paralegal studies from Boston University-Metropolitan College.

Lawrence S. Rosenwald
has handled more than one thousand civil and criminal cases in a variety of legal areas over his 40 year career. He has extensive transactional experience including contract, construction, real estate, commercial, and estate and trust law. Mr. Rosenwald has litigation experience in areas as diverse as real estate, trusts and estates, eminent domain, construction, commercial, and civil rights. He has lectured in the areas of real estate law, credit and collection practice, eminent domain law, and trust and estate law to various professional groups. Mr. Rosenwald earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and Law School. He served as chairman of the Eminent Domain Committee and the Vendors and Purchases Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Leona Mogavero
is a shareholder at Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer, where she concentrates her practice in the area of creditors' rights and bankruptcy. Ms. Mogavero has experience representing financial institutions and other lenders in negotiation and documentation of commercial loan workouts and restructures. She also has experience in real estate transactional matters. Ms. Mogavero has supervised and instructed associate attorneys and paralegal assistants in the handling of commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures, and is a frequent speaker at seminars for financial professionals and attorneys regarding loan workouts, collections and bankruptcy. She is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Mogavero is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations. She is a Subchapter V bankruptcy trustee. Ms. Mogavero earned her B.A. degree, maxima cum laude, from LaSalle College and her J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Casandra K. Blaney
is special counsel at Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP. She provides solicitor services to school entities to support the efficient operation of their business and administrative functions. Ms. Blaney's practice also includes handling real estate contracts and property transactions, along with related abstract services. In addition, she advises clients on ownership and acquisition matters involving oil, gas, and minerals. Ms. Blaney is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law and her B.A. degree from Lycoming College.
