Speaker bio
Stephen G. Bresset
is a partner with Bresset & Santora, LLC, where he has practiced commercial and bankruptcy law and litigation throughout Pennsylvania and the region for more than 30 years. During his time in practice, Mr. Bresset has represented debtors in more than 50 Chapter 11 proceedings in Pennsylvania; as well as creditors, creditor committees, and trustees at virtually every level of bankruptcy proceedings, and debtors in more than 1,000 Chapter 7 proceedings. He is admitted to the state courts of Pennsylvania, the three U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania, the three bankruptcy courts, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Bresset has always been an active member of his community and the bar associations of which he is a member. He has served as an office holder in the Wayne County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as a committee chair in both associations. Mr. Bresset has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars throughout Pennsylvania in litigation, commercial law and bankruptcy law topics. He earned his B.A. degree from Temple University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Widener University School of Law.

Ronald I. Chorches
is the principal of the Law Offices of Ronald I. Chorches, LLC, in Wethersfield, Connecticut. He is appointed to the Panel of Chapter 7 Standing Trustees, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Connecticut. Mr. Chorches has limited his practice to bankruptcy law, bankruptcy litigation, workouts, commercial litigation, and creditors' rights since 1991. He has lectured before legal and business groups on bankruptcy law and foreclosure law. Mr. Chorches is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the Chapter 13 Trustee Bankruptcy Association. He is a member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy sections of the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Commercial Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Chorches earned his B.A. degree from Skidmore College and his J.D. degree from Western New England College, School of Law.

Michael J. Champlin
is a partner with Champlin & Associates, PLLC, where his main areas of practice are collections, personal injury and bankruptcy. He teaches at the University of Richmond School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Mr. Champlin has shared his legal knowledge with students as an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond for 25 years. He is a member of the Richmond, Henrico County and Chesterfield bar associations, and the Virginia State Bar. Mr. Champlin earned his B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University.

David Lippman
is a shareholder and managing partner at Lippman Recupero, with offices in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. He has worked in the collection industry for more than 34 years. Mr. Lippman frequently instructs, lectures, and writes about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Lippman is a member of NARCA (The National Creditors Bar Association), CCA of A (The Commercial Collectors Association of America, ACA international, NASP (National Association of Subrogation Professionals), CLM (Claims & Litigation Management Alliance), and is a founding member of the Arizona Creditors' Bar Association (ACBA). He also is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, American Bar Association, IACC, and is an A.M. Best recommended attorney. Mr. Lippman is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court for the District of Arizona and the Utah District courts, as well as being admitted to practice in the states of Washington, Texas, Colorado and Oregon.

Crystal M. Duplay
is an attorney with Frost Echols LLC. She has devoted her career to the creditor's rights practice area and advocates on behalf of clients in all aspects of collections. Ms. Duplay earned her B.A. degree from Baldwin Wallace University and her J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. She frequently presents on various debt collection issues. Ms. Duplay is currently the secretary of the Ohio Creditor's Attorney Association and has served as a director for the National Creditor's Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Wisconsin, U.S. District Court Northern District of Ohio and Supreme Court of the United States.

Russell D. Kornblut
is the managing partner of Cardenas, Ruple & Kurt, LLC, a Cleveland based law firm with a strong focus on creditor's rights. He has extensive experience in mortgage banking, real estate, financial institution, bankruptcy, foreclosure, regulatory, and employment law trial and litigation. Mr. Kornblut has participated as lead panelist at both the U.S. Foreclosure Network and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America national conferences, and lectured on various mortgage banking, regulatory, real estate, bankruptcy, predatory lending, class actions, and litigation related issues. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Ohio and Cleveland Mortgage Bankers associations. Mr. Kornblut earned his B.A. degree from Indiana University and his J.D. degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
