Allison Geewax
is an attorney at Smith Currie Oles LLP. She represents clients in government contract matters, complex commercial contract drafting and negotiation, and construction risk management. In her multifaceted practice, Ms. Geewax serves corporations operating in a variety of industries - large and small government contractors, Fortune 500 investment banks, international hospitality companies, commercial real estate developers and owners, among others. She brings a broad and deep knowledge base to guide her clients through all phases of contracting processes, construction projects and legal procedure. As a certified construction risk and insurance specialist, Ms. Geewax always looks to mitigate liability by advising clients on indemnification provisions and state-specific statutes, as well as insurance provisions and requirements that affect contractual risk transfer. She earned her B.A. degree from The Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. degree from The George Washington University Law School.

Jason Kosek
is an attorney at Anderson Kill P.C. He assists clients in a broad array of issues, including insurance coverage, regulatory, FCPA, labor law, negligence, nuisance, trespass, products liability and breach of contract, with a focus on construction and regulatory matters. In construction matters, Mr. Kosek has represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and materialmen in all phases of business and construction matters, including liens, contract negotiation and disputes, construction defect litigation and transactional matters. He has experience in complex litigation matters, including defects, delays and design professional malpractice. Mr. Kosek's insurance coverage experience includes disputes over construction claims relating to additional insured status, directors and officers claims, and business interruption claims. His recent articles address mechanic's liens and an analysis of the insurance coverage implications stemming from the Surfside Condominium collapse. He earned his B.A. degree from Hofstra University and his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law.

His practice provides an integrated "one-stop-shop" for a broad cross-section of public and private sector clients in due diligence, transactions, tenant buildouts, project oversight and management, regulatory compliance, disputes, litigation, and restructuring/bankruptcy matters.

James F. Freeman, III
is an attorney with Swanson Bernard, LLC where he practices in the areas of construction, land use, church, commercial litigation, business, contract, employment, probate litigation, appellate practice, transportation and corporate law. He is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the districts of Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Freeman is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan, Kansas and American bar associations, as well as The Missouri Bar. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
