Harley M. Sherman
is the founder of Harley M. Sherman CPA where he has over 20 years of experience in personal income tax, home-based budgeting, small business start-up activities, accounting and income tax issues. He has been responsible for servicing clients in the medical, food service, real estate, governmental, and construction industries. Mr. Sherman is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he received his B.S. degree and he earned his M.S. degree in professional accountancy from Walsh College. He is an adjunct professor of accounting and income tax at Oakland Community College. Mr. Sherman is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs. He also obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), a Six Sigma Greenbelt from Lawrence Technical University, and is also a Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Matthew E. Rappaport
chairs Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP's taation and private client groups. He concentrates his practice in taxation as it relates to real estate, closely held businesses, private equity funds, family offices, and trusts and estates. Mr. Rappaport advises clients regarding tax planning, structuring and compliance for commercial real estate projects, all stages of the business life cycle, generational wealth transfer, family business succession, and executive compensation. He also collaborates with other attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, bankers, and insurance professionals when they encounter matters requiring a threshold level of tax law expertise. Mr. Rappaport earned his J.D. degree and his Master of Laws in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member and admitted to practice in the state of New York and the U.S. Tax Court.
