Explore the Major Tasks of Estate Administration With a Bit of Humor and a Ton of Legal Insight
Finnegan O'Malley, aged 92, passed away peacefully in his sleep while attempting to break the world record for the longest continuous nap. His last will and testament was found rolled up inside his favorite leprechaun-shaped cookie jar. You're advising his long-suffering nephew Seamus, who nearly fainted when he realized the extent of his duties as a personal representative. Follow this slightly whimsical yet no less legally enlightening case from start to conclusion and let it prepare you for the daily toils and troubles of probate practice. Register today!
- See the ridiculous extent of Finnegan's estate and get tips for inventory and management.
- Learn what to do with creditor claims, even wildly outlandish ones.
- Follow the very real probate timeline and deadlines to ensure timely administration.
- Understand tax-reporting requirements in probate.
- Discover how to predict, prevent, and resolve common (and sometimes slightly absurd) disputes.
This program was designed in conjunction with NBI's esteemed 2023-2026 Content Advisory Committee Member attorney Louis Silverman.
