Mark V. Jordan
is an attorney with Bracepoint Law, P.S. Mr. Jordan is the former chair of a major Seattle law firm’s intellectual property practice group, and is an expert on commercial and corporate law, intellectual property and international business transactions. He also maintains expertise in formation options for startups and established businesses (including limited liability companies), angel and venture capital investment, and organizational governance. In his career, Mr. Jordan has tried, arbitrated and mediated numerous commercial cases (both plaintiffs and defendants), and practices primarily before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He co-wrote with Philip A. Talmadge the book Attorney Fees in Washington, published by Lodestar Publishing. He has been appointed a Rule 39.1 Neutral by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, and serves as an arbitrator for King County Superior Court. Mr. Jordan earned his J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of Law and his LL.M. degree (international and comparative law) from Notre Dame Law School. He served as advisory board president of Catholic Community Services - Legal Action Center, Pacific Northwest Blues in the Schools, and provides pro bono services to several other nonprofit groups.

Qingqing Miao
is a shareholder at Lane Powell PC. She is a business and immigration attorney with a focus on general business and aviation transactions. Ms. Miao advises clients on business matters, including company formation, contract drafting, dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, and more. Her aviation transactional practice includes providing legal assistance to clients in aircraft acquisition and sale, leasing and financing, FAA regulatory matters, and more. Ms. Miao earned her bachelor's degree in English literature and linguistics from Peking University and her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School. She is currently a sub-committee chair on the CLE Committee of American Immigration Lawyers, Washington Chapter, and a secretary and member on the Board of Directors for Asian Bar Association of Washington. Ms. Miao is also a member of the Executive Committee, International Practice Section at Washington State Bar Association and American Bar Association, specifically the International Law Section. She practices law in Washington.

Sean K. Griffee
is an attorney with Stokes Lawrence, P.S. He provides counsel to companies and their owners in business and real estate transactions. Mr. Griffee's representation of businesses covers the entire lifespan of a company, from entity formation through operation and management, and ultimately sale, merger or other disposition of the business. He also regularly advises clients on commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Griffee works closely with the firm's estate planning practice group on tax planning and business succession strategies for families with significant business and real estate interests. Mr. Griffee has been recognized as a Rising Star by Washington Super Lawyers. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Washington and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law.

Kathleen Burton
is an attorney at Stokes Lawrence, P.S.. Ms. Burton handles mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers in all types of equity and asset transfers. She works with businesses at all stages of the corporate lifecycle-formation, operation, management, and disposition. Ms. Burton advises on general corporate law and taxation matters and assists with contract drafting and negotiation. Many clients use her as their outside general counsel. In addition to her M&A and business advisory practice. Ms. Burton works closely with family businesses, owners, and executives on succession planning. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Santa Clara University, and her J.D. degree and LL.M. degree (taxation) from University of Washington School of Law. Ms. Burton is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, as well as the Washington State and King County bar associations. She is admitted to practice law in Washington.
