Steven B. Vinick
is of counsel with the law firm of Stein Sperling Bennett De Jong Driscoll, P.C. He practices in the areas of personal injury law, medical malpractice, criminal defense, and general civil litigation. Mr. Vinick is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. He is the treasurer of the Montgomery County Bar Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the Prince George's County Bar Association. Mr. Vinick is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, D.C. Trial Lawyers Association and Maryland Association of Justice. He was the Maryland Association of Justice Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2011. Mr. Vinick earned his B.A. degree, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Christine Hummel
is the president and founder of Hummel Consultation Services, a national legal consultation practice specializing in the application of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act to workers’ compensation, liability and no-fault cases. She is an active attorney with licensure in the state of Colorado. With more than 19 years of experience in Medicare compliance, Ms. Hummel is a published author and popular speaker on a wide array of topics related to Medicare compliance. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Health Law Section) and the Colorado Bar Association. Her legal experience work includes Medicaid, probate and elder law. Ms. Hummel donates a significant amount of time volunteering with the Federal Park Service, giving presentations on the roles of women during the American War of Independence. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law.

Dennis F. O'Brien
is a sole proprietor at the law office of Dennis F. O'Brien, P.A., where his full-time civil litigation practice focuses on serious personal injury; product liability, including drug and medical devices; medical malpractice; nursing home negligence; appellate work; and general civil litigation. Mr. O'Brien is a member of the Maryland State, Harford County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City bar associations; and the American Association for Justice. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland; U.S. Court of Appeals (Fourth Circuit); and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. O'Brien is the co-author and author of a variety of articles, and is currently working on a book, Accident Reconstruction for Lawyers, to be nationally published by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Baltimore School of Law.
