Speaker bio
Louis G. Guzzo
is a sole practitioner in the Law Office of Louis G. Guzzo, where he concentrates his practice in all issues relating to family law, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption, and domestic violence matters. He serves as an early settlement panelist for Burlington and Camden counties; and is a member of the Camden County (member, Family Law Committee); New Jersey State and American bar associations. Mr. Guzzo is also a former member of the Thomas S. Forkin Inns of Court. He earned his B.S. degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law.

Colleen M. Quinn
Esq., of Quinn Law Centers, LLC, practices personal injury, medical malpractice, employment, family formation, including adoption and surrogacy, and estate planning law. She is admitted to the practice in all state and federal courts in Virginia. Ms. Quinn has been in practice for more than 34 years, having graduated from the University of Virginia (J.D. degree, 1988) and William & Mary (B.A. degree, 1985), and served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Harry L. Carrico, Chief Justice, Virginia Supreme Court in 1988-89. She is the winner of numerous awards and accolades, and has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including as president. Ms. Quinn was president of the Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys, served on the Board of Trustees for eight years, and is the co-author of the last five editions of the Adoption Procedures and Forms: A Guide for Virginia Lawyers (a Virginia CLE publication). She is the 2023 president-elect of the Virginia Law Foundation.

Timothy Eirich
is an honors graduate of the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. At Loyola, he was as a Philip H. Corboy Fellow (member of the National Trial Team), a Curt N. Rodin Fellow in advocacy, and a Civitas Childlaw Fellow. Mr. Eirich was also an associate editor for the Children's Legal Rights Journal. He received his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University, where he majored in English and was a captain of the NCAA Division 1 Crew Team. Mr. Eirich focuses his practice on adoption, child welfare, and guardianship cases. He represents prospective adoptive parents, foster parents, relatives, birth parents, and juveniles charged with delinquent acts. He is an experienced litigator who has tried over 25 jury trials, litigated dozens of contested hearings, and has argued in the front of both the Colorado Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Mr. Eirich litigated the ground-breaking case, both at the trial level and before the Colorado Supreme Court, that addressed the rights of foster parents and other caregivers in dependency and neglect cases. He has also received a number of awards recognizing his work. In 2012, Mr. Eirich received the Excellence in Practice Award for a Juvenile Law Attorney at the Colorado Summit for Childen Youth and Families. In 2014, the Colorado State Foster Parent Association honored him with the Champion Award for work and efforts on behalf of Colorado’s foster parents. Also in 2014, the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute awarded Mr. Eirich the prestigious Angels in Adoption Award for his work in adoption and positive child welfare practices. He has handled dozens of private, public, and contested adoptions, and has been recognized as a fellow with the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. Mr. Eirich has lectured frequently on the rights of foster parents and the child welfare system, and is a regular presenter for the Colorado State Foster Parent Association. In addition to training foster parents and relative caregivers, he teaches trial skills to fellow attorneys as an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). Prior to joining the Grob & Eirich, LLC, Mr. Eirich was the deputy director of the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center, where he litigated some of the center's highest profile cases; represented foster parents, prospective adoptive parents, relative caregivers and juveniles; and supervised a multi-disciplinary staff of attorneys and social workers who served as guardians ad litem for abused and neglected children in Denver Juvenile Court. Prior to his time with the Children's Law Center, he was a trial attorney with the Office of the Colorado Public Defender where he represented adults and juveniles charged with felony offenses.
